TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:

Please be informed that the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) issued an advisory today, May 15, 2026 at 8:00 AM, stating that the LUZON GRID has been placed under the following alert status:
• RED ALERT – from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• YELLOW ALERT – at 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM
A RED ALERT STATUS is issued when the power supply is insufficient to meet customers demand and the transmission grid’s regulating requirement.
A YELLOW ALERT STATUS is issued when the operating margin is insufficient to meet the transmission grid’s contingency requirement.
All customers are advised to use electricity judiciously during the affected hours and to stay updated through official advisories for possible rotational power interruptions or Manual Load Dropping (MLD) that may be implemented by NGCP.

Please be informed that the delayed energization of the previously posted power interruption on May 13, 2026, scheduled from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM (actual restoration: 8:22 PM to 10:24 PM), caused by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), was due to the large number of Distribution Utilities (DUs)/Electric Cooperatives (ECs) affected by the implementation of Manual Load Dropping (MLD).

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience and understanding.

TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:

In line with the previous notice regarding the advisory issued by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) today, May 13, 2026, the LUZON GRID is currently under RED STATUS.

In this regard, the NGCP will implement Manual Load Dropping (MLD) at 69kV Line. Consequently, the LUECO franchise area will be affected and customers are advised that rotational power interruptions may be experienced in their respective areas from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM today May 13, 2026.
