From the first line drawn on paper to the final detail on site — Alagos Residence is a complete design and build project by PULSEO Design Studio, built from the ground up into a home made for everyday living.

Our goal was simple: to create a home that is thoughtfully designed, carefully built, and truly feels like home for the Alagos Family.

After months of planning, construction, coordination, and hard work on site, we’re proud to finally see the project completed. Every space, material, and detail is a result of collaboration between the client, design team, and the people who brought the vision to life.

Nestled in the southern part of Hamtic, Antique, this one-storey residence with a mezzanine is thoughtfully designed to embrace its serene rural surroundings.

The clients envisioned a home that blends the warmth of Modern Tropical architecture with the clean simplicity of Scandinavian design. In response, PULSEO Design Studio crafted a residence tailored to their lifestyle—one that prioritizes comfort, natural light, ventilation, and a seamless connection to nature.

Every space is carefully oriented to frame picturesque views of the surrounding farmland and distant mountains, creating a tranquil retreat where the homeowners can unwind after a long day's work. The restrained material palette, generous roof overhangs, and warm natural finishes come together to create a timeless home that is both elegant and deeply rooted in its environment.

Design that breathes starts with materials that tell a story.

At PULSEO Design Studio, we’ve always believed that great architecture should celebrate local craftsmanship. One material we’ve long wanted to incorporate into our projects is terracotta brick—timeless, warm, and deeply connected to our local identity.

Working closely with Ar. Paul Sumagaysay, we developed a custom terracotta brick based on our own design specifications. From size and proportion to texture and finish, every detail was carefully considered to achieve the architectural expression we envisioned.

Today, seeing it installed on-site is more than just a design milestone—it’s proof that collaboration and local craftsmanship can bring unique architectural ideas to life.

This is the kind of architecture we strive for: thoughtful, authentic, and rooted in place.
