POWER RATE UPDATE PARA SA BUWAN NG MAYO 2026

Nagkaroon ng bahagyang pagtaas sa ating taripa ng kuryente bunsod ng mataas na halaga ng presyo ng kuryente sa Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM) ngayong panahon ng tag-init.

Kaya pinapayuhan pa rin ang lahat ng Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) na ugaliin ang pagtitipid sa pag-gamit ng kuryente.

Ang GENERATION CHARGE at TRANSMISSION CHARGE ay Pass-on Charge na sisingilin lamang at ibabayad sa ating power supplier at NGCP, na walang anumang maiiwan sa ating kooperatiba. Samantala ang Government Revenue & Mandated Charges ay ireremit lang din sa mga ahensya ng gobyerno. Tanging ang “Distribution, Supply and Metering charge” (DSM) lamang ang naiiwan sa SAJELCO para gamitin sa kanyang operasyon na walang pagtaas mula pa noong taong 2009 na may kabuuang ₱1.3194/kWh.

"LUZON GRID ALERT STATUS"

Ito ay para lamang maipaliwanag ang kasalukuyang sitwasyon ng power supply para sa LUZON grid.

Ang oras ng "YELLOW ALERT" at "RED ALERT".

Sa kasalukuyan, wala pang direktiba mula sa National Grid Corporation of the Philippines para sa manual load dropping o pagpatay ng kuryente sa nasasakupan ng ating franchise area upang mapababa ang demand sa Luzon Grid. Bunsod ito ng mababang supply ng kuryente sa Luzon Grid.

17 plants are on forced outage since May, 1 plant since April, 3 plants since March, 1 plant since February, 3 since January, 3 plants since 2025, 2 plants since 2024, and 1 plant out since 2019; while 14 plants are running on derated capacities, for a total of 4,828MW unavailable to the grid.

The extension of the Red and Yellow Alerts is due to the tripping of GNPD Unit 1, resulting in the loss of 668 MW and further aggravating the supply deficiency.

The Tayabas-Ilijan 500kV Line and the Dasmarinas-Ilijan 500kV Line were restored on 13 May 2026 at 2:44PM and 4:52PM, respectively. We are waiting for all the affected plants to resynchronize back to the grid.

A red alert status is issued when power supply is insufficient to meet consumer demand and the transmission grid’s regulating requirement.

A yellow alert is issued when the operating margin is insufficient to meet the transmission grid’s contingency requirement.

Winners may claim their prize at SAJELCO office (Membership Section). The winner must present 1 valid ID (photo copy) and Tax Identification Number (TIN). For those who do not have a TIN, we will process and apply for you. This is one of the requirements as a member of the Cooperative.

Winners will be given 60 days to claim their prize. After the 60-day claiming period, unclaimed prizes will be forfeited.

Ang linya ng NGCP ang nagsisilbing daluyan ng kuryente mula sa ating power supplier papunta sa Substation ng SAJELCO na siyang naghahatid naman sa ating mga tahanan.

Ang NGCP power interruption ay hindi kontrolado ng ating kooperatiba.

All works maybe finished ahead of time and power maybe restored earlier than scheduled, so please consider our lines always energized.
