WTA Design Studio is a multidisciplinary group of young and idealistic architects and designers based in Manila, Philippines.

WTA Design Studio is a multiple award-winning group of young and idealistic architects and interior designers, and urban planners and engineers based in Manila, Philippines. The office participates in a wide range of socially relevant design activities with a focus on beautifying Manila and building a better city. WTA focuses on finding solutions for the dichotomy of big and small projects, and simple and complex ideas. The firm emphasizes the design process where ideas are broken down and evolved in the studio and projected towards the surrounding community and city.

Red meets comfort.

Brick House brings the earthy tones of its exterior red brick walls into the corners and comforts of its interior spaces. These are complemented by natural wood-grain furniture and paneling throughout the rooms. The earthy reds and natural wood are set against a canvas of cream-colored walls, floors, and ceilings.

Every space is a seamless blend of character, comfort, and understated elegance.

Philippine civic architecture on the world stage! 🇵🇭

We’re proud to share that our New Tagaytay City Hall has been featured in Monocle’s Design Directory 2026, selected among nine remarkable new civic spaces from around the world.

Designed as more than a seat of government, Tagaytay City Hall opens itself to the everyday life of the city—creating spaces for gathering, interaction, and community.

For us, this is what Social Architecture is about. Buildings should not simply serve their intended functions. They should create opportunities for public life beyond them.

A city hall belongs not only to the government it houses, but to the people it serves.

Designed within a limited footprint and an open-plan layout, this office balances energy, productivity, and privacy through intentional design.

A bright, uplifting color palette brings vibrancy into the workplace, creating an environment that feels fresh and stimulating without becoming overwhelming. Meanwhile, privacy is thoughtfully integrated through phone booths, strategic material selection, acoustic considerations, and spatial zoning—allowing employees to focus, collaborate, or step away when needed.

Every detail works harder in a compact space: from flexible work areas to carefully considered partitions and finishes, creating a workplace that feels open and connected while still giving people moments of focus and retreat.

We are deeply honored by the kind words of First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos following her visit to the Anthology ASEAN Architecture Festival 2026.

Her reflection on “Care is infrastructure” speaks to the heart of what we believe at WTA—that architecture is not simply about designing buildings, but about creating places that bring people together, support everyday life, and strengthen our communities.
