What started as an intention to clean up an untended, vandalized city lot, o
verwhelmed by weeds and solid wastes, became an unexpected venture into urban gardening, organic farming and environmental rehab through bioremediation. With a historic Spanish-Mission style home as a rustic backdrop, Athena's Garden serves as an oasis from the hustle and bustle of city life. It has been the venue for many of the Guerrero's social events like picnics, outdoor parties, yard sales, sports clinics, workshops, camping, art exhibits, even photo and video shoots. Since 2014, Athena's Garden had provided dozens of jobs and has contributed much to the improvement of the community in Barangay Ermitanyo, San Juan City. For a limited time, we are opening our doors to visitors who are looking for an escape from the usual urban garden landscape for FREE.
