I’ve been collecting a few lately, but honestly, I haven't had the chance to really study their classifications yet. Are they mainly classified by shape, ribs, flecking/pattern, or something else?

I know there are so many forms and named types, and the more I look at them, the more confused and curious I get. 🤔
