Direct-On-Line (DOL) provides a simple and direct way to start and stop motors. It includes a contactor and an overload relay. Typically used for small to medium-sized motors where starting torque and current are not a concern.
Duplex Sequential Controller is a specialized electrical device designed to control and manage two motors that alternate their operation based on a specific sequence or condition. This type of controller is often used in applications where it’s beneficial to alternate the operation of two motors to balance wear, ensure reliability, or manage loads effectively.
