Role Overview:
The Procurement Officer manages purchasing, sourcing, and supplier relations to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies needed for project sites and internal operations.
Key Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in procurement, purchasing, or sourcing.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, organization, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Key Responsibilities:
· Sourcing & Canvassing: Conduct local outsourcing and canvass at least 3 suppliers for price comparisons.
· Supplier Coordination: Contact 5 to 10 suppliers daily for quotations, price negotiations, and product availability checks.
· Purchasing & Evaluation: Source, evaluate, and monitor materials, equipment, and services for project sites and operational needs.
· Inventory & Office Supplies: Process, monitor, and maintain inventory records for departmental office supplies.
· Documentation: Maintain master lists, transaction logs, purchase orders, and proper records of all supplier interactions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
✅ At least 2 years and above of experience in the construction field.
