Designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, Napoli Afragola Station is a stunning high-speed rail hub connecting northern and southern Italy. Opened in 2017, this futuristic structure features a dynamic, fluid form inspired by the movement of trains. Its curved concrete and glass design allows natural light to flood the interior, creating a seamless and airy travel experience.

As one of Italy’s key transportation hubs, the station is engineered to handle 15 million passengers annually, making it a true masterpiece of modern infrastructure and parametric design.

The world’s first underwater restaurant in Europe and doubles as a marine research center! Designed by Snøhetta, this 34-meter-long concrete structure is partially submerged, blending seamlessly with the North Sea. Its half-submerged monolithic form is built to withstand harsh ocean conditions, and over time, it will function as an artificial reef, attracting marine life. The panoramic acrylic window provides a breathtaking underwater dining experience, making guests feel like they are part of the ocean itself.

This futuristic five-story library Designed by MVRDV in collaboration with TUPDI, its most striking feature is the eye-shaped atrium with terraced bookshelves that double as seating and walkways. The curved, flowing structure enhances acoustics and natural lighting, creating an immersive reading experience. Despite its appearance, some upper bookshelves are decorative, concealing perforated aluminum panels. A true blend of function and artistic vision!
