Chak 40

Chak 40 Rajputs It was late 19TH century when Lyallpur (now Faisalabad) was founded in Punjab province of the subcontinent.

It is said that more than ten Rajputs came from Halwara (a small town of Punjab in India) to settle here in "40 Chak". When they saw this area with wide landscape, they cultivated the land and initiated to earn their livelihood through this land. With the passage of time their families increased and there were almost 100 people in "40 Chak". Now the village was with some raw and concrete houses an

d the majority was of Sikhs and Hindus. Later on after the partition in 1947 they all migrated to India and Muslim Rajputs entered here in "40 Chak", they set their luggage in these rehabilitate houses. By the end of 20TH century all those small ancient houses and some masterpieces were eradicated due to some reasons. People of "40 Chak" are so friendly and hospitable.
