Rabab students

Burum hanik is an old rasam in Hunza, where Maltash (Butter) and Khamali (Bread) are presented to the Ustad before the beginning of a musical journey. Here Inshaal Habib and his Ustad, Mohammad Aizaz are part of the same rasam where the Ustad blesses the student, gives him dua and feeds the student with his own hands. In return the student then presents the same to the Ustad.
Burum Hanik is an auspicious start to a life long journey of learning music. After the rasam, both the student and the teacher then start with a basic vocal culture lesson that is an integral part of every day Riyaz.

اِنَّا لِلّٰہِ وَاِنَّآ اِلَیْہِ رَاجِعُوْنَ

We are deeply saddened to announce that the hero of the unreleased film "The Tournament of Shadows", Turgan, is no more.
His real name was Mehboob and he belonged to Altit Hunza
He was not just an actor, but a true artist and humble human being. Although the film could not be released, his hard work, dedication and brilliant acting in it will never be forgotten.

He will always live in our hearts. May his soul rest in peace.

"إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ"
Today, we remember one of our beloved students, whose life was tragically lost in a recent bike accident.

He was not only a talented and dedicated music student but also a kind and wonderful person who left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. His absence will be deeply felt by our entire music school family.

This is a sad moment for all of us and a time to reflect on the preciousness of life. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.

May he rest in peace.💔😢
