Located in DHA Phase 5, Islamabad, Dayyan House was designed to balance the strong street presence expected of a modern residence with the restraint we believe in as architects. Built on a 10 marla plot with a basement, every square foot was carefully planned to feel open without losing intimacy.

The facade is composed of board-formed concrete textures, dark fluted cladding, and warm timber accents at the entry. Vertical volumes of varying heights reduce the visual weight of the building while controlling natural light, and the carved entry canopy creates a shaded transition between the street and the front door. Primarc Studio handled the complete design and continues to oversee the project through construction.

The double-height void at the heart of the house became the answer to creating openness within a compact footprint. It brings natural light deep into the plan, visually connects every floor, and gives the interior a sense of scale beyond the plot size.

Glass partitions and dark steel frames define spaces without closing them off, while the basement is fully integrated as a deliberate layer of the architecture rather than an afterthought.

The bathrooms were treated as individual architectural spaces while maintaining the same material language found throughout the home. Warm stone, dark veined marble, matte fixtures, floating vanities, and recessed lighting create calm, refined interiors with a strong sense of continuity.

The primary bathroom features a double vanity, an open shower with a ceiling-mounted shower head, and generous wall heights that allow the stone surfaces to stand out. The secondary bathrooms follow the same design logic with clean proportions, restrained detailing, and materials selected to age gracefully.

Tarteel Technologies occupies an entire floor in Top City, Islamabad, with a purpose that extends far beyond a conventional office. Connecting students across the world to Quran learning, every space was designed to support focus, collaboration, and meaningful interaction.

From the welcoming entrance to custom teaching pods, collaborative workspaces, executive offices, and breakout areas, every corner reflects a single vision—creating an environment where purpose drives design and every detail supports the people working within it.

Co-Working Space
Not every team works the same way, and the co-working space was designed for departments that thrive on energy and collaboration. Open, dynamic, and built for movement, it combines an industrial ceiling, warm tones, and comfortable lounge seating to create an environment that understands people and adapts to the way they work.

Executive Office
The executive office was designed to reflect clarity and command. Herringbone wood flooring, a desk that anchors the room without overpowering it, and a calm, focused atmosphere create a workspace where important decisions can be made with confidence. Nothing unnecessary. Everything deliberate.

Teaching Room
This is where it all happens. Every teaching pod was designed specifically for teachers connecting with students across the world to learn the Quran.
Custom workstations support deep, uninterrupted focus, with integrated cable management, open sightlines for supervision, and durable construction built for daily use. The rhythm of the pods, the quality of light, and the proportions of the room were all engineered around one question: what does a teacher need to do their best work every single day?

Conference Room
Every important decision has a room it is made in.
The conference room was designed to hold the weight of those conversations. A central white table anchors the space, complemented by dark grounded seating, a presentation wall that disappears when not in use, and carefully placed greenery that keeps both the air and the thinking clear. Bold enough to impress clients, yet quiet enough for focused discussions.

Breakout Lounge
The breakout lounge was designed as a place to pause. Soft seating, warm lighting, and circular ceiling details create a calm atmosphere where the team can step away from their screens, recharge, and return sharper.
Thoughtful workplace design understands that rest is not the opposite of productivity—it is part of it. For a company built around patience, presence, and human connection, a lounge that breathes felt only right.

Faheem House is a complete architectural statement. This 1 Kanal contemporary residence in DHA Phase 5, Islamabad was conceived from the outside in, where clean lines, bold contrasts, and carefully balanced materials define its identity.

The facade combines dark sintered stone cladding, warm timber louvres, frameless floor-to-ceiling glazing, and razor-sharp integrated LED lines that highlight the architecture after dark. A cantilevered upper volume floats above the double-height entrance, while every elevation, including the rear terrace and landscape, has been designed with equal attention. This is modern architecture where no angle is an afterthought.

Step inside, and the open-plan lounge is anchored by a floor-to-ceiling bookmatched marble TV wall, framed with dark bronze mirror panels that visually extend the space. Deep charcoal marble flooring reflects the warmth of a sculptural branching chandelier, while the honey-toned marble kitchen island continues the material palette seamlessly.

Organic green velvet seating, curated bronze sculptures, brushed bronze details, smoked mirrors, and rich walnut joinery introduce warmth and texture, creating interiors built on the balance between richness and restraint.

The double-height entrance lobby opens toward a landscaped patio framed by sheer linen drapes, creating a seamless connection between architecture and nature. At the heart of the home, the travertine kitchen island becomes a social gathering point, reinforcing the open, connected layout.

From the exterior to the finest interior details, every space has been designed as part of one unified vision—where modern architecture meets luxury living.

The sales office for Skypark One at Gulberg Green, Islamabad, was designed as more than a workspace. It's an extension of the building itself, carrying forward the grandeur you experience the moment you step inside and translating it into every corner, every surface, and every carefully chosen fixture.

Warm terracotta brick, crisp white cabinetry, sculptural lighting, and integrated greenery come together to create a refined yet welcoming environment. Every element is designed with intention, ensuring visitors don't just enter an office—they experience the promise of the project.

Reception Lounge
Some spaces make you pause. This is one of them.
The reception lounge was designed to greet visitors with calm—a curated stillness built from warm brick, cascading light, and furnishings that invite you to sit a little longer. A glazed partition lets the space breathe while preserving its visual drama, while the chandelier above doesn't just illuminate—it sets the tone.
"A Safe Haven. An Urban Dream." wasn't just a tagline; it became the design brief that shaped the experience from the very first step inside.

Executive Office
The executive office was designed as a space built for clarity and confident decision-making. Veined marble panels meet terracotta brick in a balance of refinement and rawness, while a sculptural pendant and carefully proportioned furnishings create a calm, focused atmosphere.
Every detail—from the materiality and lighting to the proportions—was selected to reflect the vision One Horizon brings to every project it builds.

Most corner houses pick one facade and ignore the other. This contemporary 8 marla corner home was designed differently, built around two ideas: bold geometric massing and material contrast.

The rough-textured stone base grounds the house, while smooth rendered volumes above push forward and recede, catching light differently throughout the day. Bold geometric forms, deep-set dark-framed windows, angular cuts, a glass balcony, and carefully composed massing give the house a presence that changes as you move around it. No two views of the house look the same.

The deep-set windows aren't just aesthetic—they cut glare, frame views from inside, and give the facade its depth. Here, the corner became the opportunity, creating a contemporary home that earns its place on the street.

The design doesn't stop at the front door.

The interior was also fully designed by Primarc Studio, from spatial planning to material finishes, ensuring the same quality and design thinking carries through from the outside in. This is what complete design looks like—architecture and interior design under one roof, delivered by one team with one clear vision for your home.

Based in Islamabad, Primarc Studio offers full-service architectural and interior design for residential projects across Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and beyond.

03/08/2026

Located on the Islamabad Expressway, The Nouvelle Marquee represents a shift toward more permanent, modern architecture in the hospitality sector. This was a complete design-supervise effort, from the initial design concept to the supervision of interior finishes.

The architectural identity is defined by the contrast between heavy stone-clad masses and light, transparent glass volumes. Double-height lobbies, column-free halls, and intimate event spaces work together to accommodate both large-scale gatherings and private celebrations. Signature elements such as the glass bridge, rhythmic ceiling coffering, and bespoke lighting create a curated environment that enhances the guest experience at every scale.

Entrance Lobby
The entrance lobby serves as the primary transition point, designed to handle the flow of guests while making a strong first impression. A double-height ceiling, grand staircase, and custom chandelier installation create a strong sense of volume, while floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light.
Wide illuminated treads, integrated stone planters, and a high-gloss dual-tone floor guide guests naturally toward the main hall. Warm wood-clad ceilings, textured stone walls, curated furniture, and sculptural columns create intimate seating areas and memorable spaces for photography and social interaction.

Main Hall
The main hall is centered around an elegant, multi-layered ceiling that creates a sense of height and sophistication. Custom wall-hanging lights by Just Another Guild, paired with minimalist chandeliers, provide a warm layered glow that highlights the verticality of the space, creating an atmosphere that feels both modern and timeless.

Second Hall
The second hall departs from standard marquee layouts with a sweeping architectural ceiling that becomes the primary focal point. Curved forms, tiered lighting, dark textured coffers, and integrated light strips create rhythm throughout the space, while the high-gloss floor reflects the ceiling geometry, enhancing its visual impact.

First Floor Event Hall
Designed for more intimate gatherings, the first-floor event hall offers a personal setting without compromising on architectural quality. A lower textured ceiling with geometric patterns creates a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere, while floor-to-ceiling windows bring in natural light and expansive front views, making the space feel open and inviting.

Glass Bridge & First Floor
A structural glass bridge cuts through the double-height lobby, offering a unique vantage point across the venue while allowing natural light to pe*****te deep into the interior. Indoor greenery and warm perimeter lighting soften the glass and steel, transforming a simple circulation space into a memorable architectural experience.

Bridal Waiting Area
The bridal waiting area was designed as a calm and private retreat away from the main event. Olive-toned geometric wall paneling with integrated backlighting adds depth and structure, while curved plush furniture in muted tones softens the space, balancing a modern aesthetic with comfort for the bride's final moments before the ceremony.

Bathrooms
The restrooms were designed as an essential part of the guest experience. Polished granite vanities, large-format marble wall tiles, vessel sinks, and recessed ambient lighting create a refined atmosphere, while durable high-contrast materials ensure the spaces remain functional for high-capacity events.

07/04/2026

Louvered House in B-17, Islamabad, is a 10 Marla residence defined by interlocking geometric volumes that create a dynamic balance of solid and void. The façade contrasts white textured stucco with dark horizontal louvered screens, which provide privacy and effective solar shading. Recessed windows and deep overhangs create shifting patterns of light and shadow throughout the day, while the corner plot allows the composition to engage dynamically with its surroundings.

The entrance is designed to provide a seamless transition from exterior to interior, guiding visitors into the open-plan layout with a sense of clarity and flow.

Common areas, including the drawing room, dining, and lounge, are conceived as a fluid continuum. Furniture arrangement and ceiling treatments define zones without physical partitions, while vertical wooden paneling anchors the visual narrative and emphasizes ceiling height. A neutral palette provides a refined backdrop for contemporary furnishings.

The TV lounge and ground floor living spaces focus on zone definition through a vertical timber media wall that anchors the open-plan layout. Ambient cove lighting and clerestory windows introduce soft natural light and heighten the sense of openness.

The kitchen features a U-shaped layout with light timber veneer cabinetry, grey stone countertops, and a full-height backsplash. Overhead cabinets extend to the ceiling for ample storage, while a large window with horizontal blinds modulates light and ventilation, creating an efficient and bright workspace.

Bathrooms utilize high-contrast materials, with dark veined marble feature walls against neutral beige porcelain. Floating vanities and wall-mounted fixtures maintain openness, maximizing the 10 Marla footprint and giving the spaces a modern, airy feel.
