1951 Founding of Farrokh Chemical Industries (Pvt.), Ltd. Inc, Karachi.

1958 Founding of Farrokh Chemical Industries (Pvt.), Ltd.

Inc Chittagong.

1962 Founding of Farrokh Chemical Industries (Pvt.), Ltd. Inc, Dhaka.

1969 Founding of Captain Chemical Industries (Pvt.), Ltd. Inc, Faisalabad.

1971 Production starts on 3 unit meters at Faisalabad.

1971 Dhaka & Chittagong plants become Captain Chemical Industries
(Pvt.), Ltd. Inc Bangladesh, Ltd.

1974 Inauguration of first continuous furnace at Faisalabad.

1976

Joint venture with PQ Corporation (USA) to become Captain-PQ;
Chemical Industries (Pvt.), Ltd.

1984 Inauguration of second continuous furnace at Faisalabad.

1995 Expansion to double capacity of Faisalabad plant, by building of third continuous furnace.

2004 Construction of micro-furnace at Faisalabad to service low-volume,
specialty customers.

2006 Inauguration of state-of-the-art plant in Karachi.

2007 Registration as an ISO 9001:2008 compliant operation
completed, for all silicate manufacturing facilities in Pakistan.

On April 15, 2023, The Chairperson and Board of Directors of Captain PQ Chemicals hosted an Iftar and dinner at the Faisalabad Plant for their distributors, customers and suppliers, from all over Punjab, some of whom have been doing business with CPQ for over 50 years. Awards were presented in all categories. Among the guests who attended this festive event were President, Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce Dr. Khurram Tariq, and Minister Musadiq Malik. Three generations of the Captain Family were present to host the event, which was greatly enjoyed by all present.
