IDEC was honored to welcome Professor Dr. Shahid Imran, Vice Chancellor of Baba Guru Nanak University BGNU, to Innovative Design and Engineering Consultancy (IDEC) Headquarters for an engaging discussion on the future of engineering education, industry collaboration, and digital transformation in Pakistan's AEC sector.

The visit included meaningful conversations around the vision and objectives of the Pakistan BIM and Digital Transformation Association (PBTDA), highlighting the importance of stronger collaboration between academia and industry in advancing BIM adoption, innovation, and future-ready engineering education.

Following the discussion, Professor Dr. Shahid Imran toured IDEC Headquarters to gain insight into our multidisciplinary design environment, digital workflows, and the technologies shaping modern project delivery.

Meaningful partnerships between universities and industry are essential to preparing graduates for the challenges of tomorrow. By working together, we can bridge the gap between education and professional practice while building a more innovative and digitally empowered AEC ecosystem.
