• How To Use: Step 1: Select fresh flowers that are in full bloom but not yet fully opened. The petals are dry without any blemishes. Step 2: Find a container with an airtight lid that is large enough to accommodate the flowers. Allow space for the silica gel to cover the flowers completely. Step 3:Pour a layer of silica gel at the bottom of the container. The depth of the layer should be approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm). Step 4: Cut the stems of the flowers to your desired length for handling.
• Step-By-Step Guide: Step 1: Gently place the flowers upright into the container, ensuring that they are not touching each other or the sides of the container. Step 2: Slowly pour the silica gel over the flowers, use a spoon or a small brush to carefully distribute the gel around and between the petals, ensuring every part of the flower is covered. Step 3: Close the container tightly with its lid to create an airtight seal. Make sure no air can enter or escape from the container.
• Allow drying time: Place the sealed container in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight. Let the flowers dry for about 7-10 days. The drying time may vary depending on the size and thickness of the flowers. After the drying period, gently remove the flowers from the container. Carefully brush off any excess silica gel using a soft brush or a can of compressed air.

While there are many ways to dry and preserve flowers, flower drying crystals can be more efficient as it absorbs the moisture from the plant material with less discoloration and fading than hang drying or pressing. It enables one to easily dry flowers within a matter of a few days even minutes, and in doing so the shape and color of the flowers are maintained during the drying process.

- Step 1 : Lay a layer of flower silica gel desiccants on the bottom of the airtight container. Then process the flowers, remove the bad petals by hand, cut off the long branches, and reserve 3-5cm of flower branches.
- Step 2 : Lay the trimmed flowers on top of silica gel for drying flowers.
- Step 3 : Slowly pour the remaining flower drying desiccant into the surrounding area with a small cup. First, cover the flower core and carefully fill in each petal, taking care not to make the flower out of shape.
- Step 4 : When the flowers are completely covered, seal the container and leave in a dry place for 3-7 days. ( Pay attention to the degree of dryness of the flowers and increase or decrease the drying time as appropriate. )
Flowers best preserved by using flower drying silica gel : Anemones, Daisies, Zinnias, Roses, Azaleas, Freesia, Strawflower, Sea lavender, Pansies, Queen Anne's Lace, Larkspur, Peonies, Grape Hyacinths, Lily of the Valley, Orchids, Delphiniums, Statice, Yarrow, Primroses, Baby's breath, Grasses, Carnations, Bachelor Buttons, Foliage, Dahlias, Geraniums, Celosias, Asters, Marigolds, Chrysanthemums, Cockscomb, Gomphrena, etc.
- Flowers not easily be dried by using silica gels: Daffodils, Crocuses, Irises, Tulips and other flowers with high moisture in the petals.
- White flowers may become beige after dried, while red flowers will be a little darker.
- Dried flowers fade quickly in sunlight or extreme heat, so be sure to keep them in cool areas away from windows.
