Annual General Body Meeting 2026 – Institute of Architects Pakistan, Peshawar Chapter
The Annual General Body Meeting of the Institute of Architects, Pakistan – Peshawar Chapter (IAP-PC) was held on Saturday, 04 July 2026, at Sheraz Restaurant, Peshawar. The meeting achieved quorum.
The meeting was chaired by Ar. Muhammad Sabir Afridi, Chairman IAP-PC. It commenced with recitation from the Holy Quran followed by the National Anthem.
Proceedings:
- Confirmation of Minutes: Minutes of the AGM held on 28 September 2025 were confirmed.
- Secretary’s Report: Ar. Rabia Noureen, Honorary Secretary IAP-PC, presented the report on activities for 2025-2026.
- Treasurer’s Report: In the absence of Ar. Zeeshan Nazeer, Honorary Treasurer, EC Member Ar. Shahzad Farid Khattak presented the accounts for 2025-2026.
Elections 2026-2027
Five seats fell vacant upon completion of the two-year tenure of:
1. Ar. Sohaib Ullah (Elected 2024)
2. Ar. Noor Badshah (Elected 2024)
3. Ar. Muhammad Mudasir (Elected 2024)
4. Ar. Muhammad Arslan (Elected 2024)
5. Ar. Zeeshan Nazeer (Elected 2024)
Four valid nominations were received for the five vacant seats. As nominations were less than the number of vacancies, the following were declared elected unopposed as Members of the Executive Committee for 2026:
1. Ar. Osama Khattak (A-2409-23)
2. Ar. Muhammad Umar Farooq Khan (A-2450-23)
3. Ar. Muhammad Omer (A-2111-21)
4. Ar. Saad Akbar (A-2439-23)
The AGM 2025-2026 was adjourned.
1st Executive Committee Meeting 2026-2027*
Immediately after the AGM, the 1st EC Meeting was held at the same venue. The following office bearers were elected:
- Chairman: Ar. Muhammad Sabir Afridi
- Vice Chairman: Ar. Umar Khayam
- Honorary Secretary: Ar. Rabia Noureen
- Honorary Treasurer: Ar. Muhammad Shahzad Farid
