On 23rd August 1995, I put down my uniform and picked up a different kind of blueprint. I'd spent a career building for the nation in one form — now I wanted to build for it in another. Chimbals began as a simple belief: that engineering done with discipline, integrity, and an eye for detail could change skylines and lives alike.
What started as one engineer's vision grew, project by project, into a name trusted across Pakistan, Kenya, and Tanzania — over 200 projects strong, and counting.
Along the way, the baton found new hands. My son Kamal took the vision I built and gave it structure, strategy, and scale — turning a single practice into a group spanning architecture, engineering, and EPC consultancy. And now, my grandson Kamran carries it forward into a new generation, with fresh energy and the same old discipline.
