🌀 Project 01: The Pavilion of Time

Main Idea
“Time is not a line — it is a space through which we move with our emotions.”
The Pavilion of Time is an experimental piece of architecture where visitors can feel the passage of time as a spatial and sensory phenomenon. It doesn’t display clocks — it allows people to experience how each moment has its own density, color, and rhythm.

Form / Material / Space
The structure takes the shape of a spiraling corridor suspended above a still body of water, like a floating ring of light.
The walls are made from a translucent, reactive material that responds to body heat and movement — the longer someone stays, the more the color shifts.
The floor subtly vibrates in sync with the visitor’s heartbeat (through embedded biometric sensors).
At the end of the spiral, there is a white chamber of silence — a meditative void where the only audible sound is one’s own breath. Time disappears there.

User Experience
Visitors enter barefoot.
Each step activates subtle light and sound, composing an individual choreography of movement through time.
There is no beginning or end — the entrance and exit are the same point.
It’s a meditative journey that provokes the question: does time exist outside of us?

The pavilion is a metaphor for human life — built of repetitive yet irreversible moments.
The spiral form represents recurrence and the growth of consciousness.
This architecture doesn’t display time — it becomes time itself.

🌀 Projekt 01: Pawilon Czasu (The Pavilion of Time)
Idea przewodnia
„Czas nie jest linią — jest przestrzenią, w której poruszamy się emocjami.”
Pawilon Czasu to eksperymentalna architektura, w której odwiedzający mogą odczuć upływ czasu jako zjawisko przestrzenne i sensoryczne. Nie pokazuje zegarów, lecz pozwala poczuć, jak każda chwila ma inną gęstość, barwę i dźwięk.

Forma / materia / przestrzeń
Obiekt ma formę spiralnego korytarza zawieszonego w pustce, niczym pierścień unoszący się nad wodą.
Ściany wykonane są z półprzezroczystego materiału, który reaguje na ruch i temperaturę ciała — im dłużej ktoś przebywa w przestrzeni, tym bardziej zmienia się jej barwa.
Podłoga delikatnie drży w rytmie serca odwiedzającego (czujniki biometryczne w podłożu).
Na końcu spiralnej ścieżki znajduje się biała komora ciszy, w której słychać tylko echo własnego oddechu. Tam „czas znika”.

Doświadczenie użytkownika
Zwiedzający wchodzi boso.
Każdy krok aktywuje subtelne światło i dźwięk, tworząc indywidualną partyturę ruchu w czasie.
Nie ma początku ani końca — wejście i wyjście są tym samym miejscem.
To doświadczenie medytacyjne, które każe zadać pytanie: czy czas istnieje poza nami?
