Hey Architect — is your project reality-proof?
AI is just a cute inspiration tool? Think again.

We tested antirender.com — the tool that turns beautiful renders into more depressing realities. Brutal? Yes. Useful? Very.
It’s a great reality check, especially at the concept stage, showing where potential f-ups may appear — long before construction starts.

We were curious how it would treat our portfolio, often labeled as too “special” or “detached from market reality”.
Turns out — it holds up pretty well. Even in depressing scenarios.
The WWI Memorial in Washington? Still strong.And the Guggenheim proposal for Helsinki? Looks solid.

Can’t wait to see how other conceptual studios perform when the intellectual load is really tested.

And seriously — buy the founder of Anti-Render a coffee. Or three ☕️

From the archives … a look into our skyscraper project in Warsaw.

Architektura z lat 90. XX wieku coraz częściej ustępuje miejsca nowym realizacjom. Podobny los może spotkać Central Tower (Orco Tower), zlokalizowany u zbiegu Alej Jerozolimskich i ul. Chałubińskiego.

Ten 115-metrowy wieżowiec prawdopodobnie zostanie w przyszłości wyburzony. Jego następcą mogłaby być 140-metrowa wieża z zieloną elewacją, zaprojektowana przez pracownię MJZ. Jak Wam się podoba?

How can a concrete building be more sustainable? 🌍🏗️
By designing it as part of the business itself.

Our HQ office / hotel building project is located in an existing quarry in Poland — where the materials to build it would be harvested directly on site and processed into concrete. In this way, the very core of our client’s business becomes the essence of the architecture. ♻️✨

On this unique site, in the middle of the quarry, there is already an office building — and yes, even a helicopter was there. 🚁 After the extraction phase, the quarry land must be recultivated, often by flooding it with water. That is how these impressive lakes surrounding the site were formed. 🌊

Jak betonowy budynek może być bardziej zrównoważony? 🌍🏗️
Poprzez wpisanie go w samą istotę biznesu.

Nasz projekt siedziby biura (adaptowalnej na hotel) zlokalizowany jest w istniejącej kopalni w Polsce — materiały do budowy będą pozyskiwane bezpośrednio na miejscu i przetwarzane w beton. W ten sposób rdzeń działalności naszego klienta staje się esencją architektury. ♻️✨

Na tym wyjątkowym terenie, w samym środku kopalni, już stoi budynek biurowy — a nawet helikopter tam kiedyś lądował. 🚁 Po zakończeniu wydobycia teren kopalni musi zostać zrekultywowany, często poprzez zalanie wodą. Tak właśnie powstały imponujące jeziora, które dziś otaczają tę lokalizację. 🌊

Biurowiec pośród jezior pokopalnianych: kształtem nawiązuje do warstw geologicznych. Realizuje ideę „Buduj z tego, co masz pod stopami.”

Na sztucznej wyspie pracownie MJZ i Łoskiewicz Studio zaprojektowali obiekt biurowy. Projekt nie tylko wykorzystuje potencjał postindustrialnego krajobrazu, lecz także redefiniuje pojęcie brownfieldu, udowadniając, że przestrzeń po przemyśle może stać się symbolem zrównoważonej architektury i nowej tożsamości miejsca.

Together with Łoskiewicz Studio, we designed a low-emission, circular office building for one of Poland’s leading aggregate producers — located on an existing artificial island, surrounded by post-extraction lakes, in the heart of an active quarry.

🔨 Built from what the company extracts every day — sand, gravel, and crushed stone
🪨 Shaped by the industrial processes that define their identity — excavation and crushing
♻️ Ready to evolve — the modular structure can be transformed into a premium lakeside hotel or eco-retreat in the future

This is not just about sustainability — it’s about translating industrial legacy into architectural form, while preparing for long-term regeneration.

THIS USED TO BE A PARKING
We transformed a former parking lot into a self-sustainable public park — including a wild meadow. All vegetation is sustained entirely by harvested rainwater. The system captures, circulates, and stores water in underground tanks, complemented by an open artificial river integrated into the landscape. Remarkably, this new ecological layer thrives on top of an existing three-level office building, proving that urban infrastructure can be reimagined into living, self-sustaining green environments. to
