At the heart of La Luz Sobre la Colina is a kitchen designed to do more than serve as a workspace—it anchors the home while celebrating the surrounding landscape. A spacious open-concept layout, oversized island, and carefully selected natural materials create a warm, inviting environment where cooking, dining, and gathering happen effortlessly.

Custom green cabinetry introduces a subtle connection to the tropical setting, complemented by light countertops, warm wood flooring, floating wood shelving, and woven pendant lighting that add texture and warmth throughout the space.

Window design played a central role in shaping this ocean-view residence. Large-format glazing and expansive folding door systems were strategically incorporated throughout the home to capture panoramic Caribbean views, maximize natural daylight, and create a seamless transition between interior and exterior living spaces.

The primary suite was designed with floor-to-ceiling glass that opens directly to a private terrace, allowing the ocean to become an extension of the room itself. In the main living and dining areas, oversized folding glass walls fully open to connect the interior with the outdoor entertaining spaces, enhancing airflow, natural ventilation, and year-round indoor-outdoor living.

Beyond aesthetics, the window placement was carefully studied to frame specific views, strengthen the connection to the landscape, and ensure that every major living space benefits from natural light and the surrounding tropical environment. The result is a home where the architecture is defined not only by its structure, but by the views it was designed to capture.

We're so excited to introduce our latest project currently underway in Cabo Rojo—a distinctive residence originally built in 1975 that is being thoughtfully restored while preserving the architectural character that has defined it for decades. One of the home's most iconic features—the dramatic wood-framed skylight structure—is being carefully reconstructed and reinforced, allowing natural light to once again become the centerpiece of the design.

As construction progresses, structural upgrades, building envelope improvements, and Mediterranean Coastal-inspired finishes are being integrated with the original architecture, creating a timeless balance between preservation and modern living. We're so excited to finally share one of our newest completed homes! Perched atop an oceanfront bluff in Aguadilla, this 4,600 SF custom residence was thoughtfully designed to celebrate its most breathtaking feature—uninterrupted Atlantic Ocean views.

Inspired by Tropical Modern architecture, the home combines clean lines with warm, natural materials including exposed concrete ceilings, coralina stone, expansive glass, black aluminum framing, and crisp white forms. Every primary living space was intentionally oriented toward the horizon, creating a seamless connection between the indoors and the surrounding landscape.

Open social spaces flow effortlessly onto generous covered terraces, while the infinity-edge pool visually blends into the ocean beyond. Inside, light-filled interiors prioritize comfort, functionality, and timeless design—creating a home that is equally perfect for entertaining or enjoying quiet family moments.

This project reflects our passion for creating architecture that is simple, purposeful, and deeply connected to its environment. We couldn't be more proud to share the finished result.
