RSM (2022)

RCMDO reimagined RSM Puerto Rico’s 22,000 SF San Juan office as a modern, dynamic workplace that supports growth and evolving workstyles. Within the existing two-story structure, the design increases private offices and enhances spatial efficiency.

An expansion into a former parking area introduces a new lounge, cafeteria, and conference room. Custom cementitious wood fiber baffles create acoustic comfort while framing original arched windows.
Strategic interventions—including a steel beam and glass partition—bring openness and transparency, while brand-driven finishes add vibrancy.

The result: a contemporary interior in dialogue with its 1950s Spanish-Mediterranean exterior.

CASITA ROSADA - Cayey Biodiversity Center (2026)

The restoration of the Casita Rosada into the Cayey Biodiversity Center reimagines architecture as an active participant in the local ecosystem. By integrating native flora to support pollinators like hummingbirds and butterflies, the design creates a reciprocal relationship between the built environment and indigenous fauna.

The intervention transforms the entire structure, turning the rooftop into a walkable green habitat and elevated walkway for public learning. A new annex volume follows this same conceptual logic, serving as a multipurpose auditorium for cultural and municipal events. Together, these elements form a cohesive architectural refuge that functions as both a living habitat and a vital educational platform for the community.

AON Reception (2020)

This redesigned space introduces a compact, welcoming reception, wrapped in a sculptural glass enclosure that sets a refined tone on arrival. Beyond the entry, the layout unfolds into new collaborative zones, a dedicated wellness room, a private office, and an upgraded break room—all while reducing the overall tenant footprint. The result is a streamlined, modern environment that balances comfort, productivity, and thoughtful use of space.

FEMA’s CRC ATLANTIC (2018)

Commissioned as part of the integral design for the main lobby of FEMA’s CRC Atlantic in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, both the lobby environment and its featured lamp were conceived as a unified design gesture. The piece responds to a broader conceptual strategy centered on reinterpreting elements of the local landscape and culture. In this case, the “racimo de plátano” is adopted as a native symbol, evoking resilience, rootedness, and sustenance—values closely aligned with FEMA’s role on the island.

More than a standalone fixture, the lamp functions as an integral installation within the lobby, weaving together identity, function, and poetics to shape a cohesive and meaningful arrival experience.

CASE STUDY: CABIN-01

Our latest case study, is conceived as an exploration focused on the development of a modular countryside dwelling, addressing the challenges inherent to modular design and prefabrication while maintaining a constant openness and connection to the surrounding natural landscape. The project investigates the integration of materials such as concrete, wood, glass, and natural stone cladding, used as finishing elements to achieve a restrained architectural expression.

The proposal is organized around a cross-shaped floor plan, supported by a cantilevered structural system that minimizes the footprint on the site. This configuration enables the creation of open and fluid spaces, complemented by generous cantilevered overhangs that strategically frame views toward the surroundings, reinforcing the visual and spatial relationship with the natural landscape.

We hosted Helvetia for an initial design meeting to align the project’s vision and review preliminary layouts. This session focuses on understanding the client’s operational needs, priorities, and expectations, while validating key design criteria. It also creates an open dialogue for early feedback, helping refine the direction and establish a strong foundation for the next phases of the project.

MPG 410 (2021)

Located in the CVP building in Guaynabo, MPG Puerto Rico’s 8,902 sq ft office is designed around a balance of collaboration and independence. Four distinct work blocks are connected by a central corridor that promotes movement, interaction, and shared identity, while transparent offices and exposed elements maximize light and openness. A refined palette of cool tones with warm wood accents creates a professional yet human-centered workspace.
