casa [house] va+he . guisande, braga, portugal

[pt] estamos de volta com mais um capítulo da casa va+he.
às exigências do loteamento, somou-se um novo desafio: a piscina. a sua localização foi desenhada entre duas premissas que se queriam inseparáveis - a procura da melhor luz solar e a necessidade de resguardo face à rua. assim, a piscina encontra o seu lugar num ponto de equilíbrio, onde o sol a envolve e a privacidade se preserva, sem nunca quebrar a ligação com os espaços de convívio da casa.
em breve partilharemos imagens do interior, onde essa relação íntima se revela. 😉

[en] we are back with another chapter of the va+he house.
in addition to the requirements of the development, there was a new challenge: the swimming pool. its location was designed based on two premises that were intended to be inseparable - the search for the best sunlight and the need for privacy from the street. thus, the swimming pool finds its place in a point of balance, where the sun surrounds it and privacy is preserved, without ever breaking the connection with the living spaces of the house.
soon we will share images of the interior, where this intimate relationship is revealed. 😉

[pt] estamos de volta com a casa va+he!
mais uma vez, deparámo-nos com um lote de declive acentuado, marcado por um denso maciço arbóreo que se impõe na sua parte tardoz. a este cenário juntam-se ainda as fortes restrições do loteamento, que colocaram à prova o desenho e a implantação da casa.
perante este contexto, o projeto assume o desafio como oportunidade: tirar partido da inclinação natural do terreno e abrir a casa, de forma precisa e controlada, ora para a envolvente verde, ora para o seu interior onde os pátios assumem um papel fundamental e central na casa.
muito em breve partilharemos mais detalhes desta relação intensa entre casa, paisagem e declive.

[en] we are back with the va+he house!
once again, we encountered a steeply sloping plot, marked by a dense mass of trees imposing themselves at the rear. added to this scenario were the strict restrictions imposed by the development, which put the design and layout of the house to the test.
given this context, the project takes on the challenge as an opportunity: to take advantage of the natural slope of the land and open up the house, in a precise and controlled manner, both to the green surroundings and to its interior, where the courtyards play a fundamental and central role in the house.
very soon we will share more details of this intense relationship between house, landscape and slope.
