On June 9, Víctor Milagros López, Chief Strategy & Business Development Officer at Group IGE, will participate in the talk “From Land to Operation: Developing and Delivering Solar & Storage Projects in Today’s Romania”, focused on the challenges and opportunities in the development of renewable and storage projects.

This participation reinforces our commitment to the energy transition and to the development of sustainable, efficient solutions adapted to the sector’s new challenges.

Do escritório para o terreno.

Na semana passada, as equipas Administrativa e Financeira da Windpark visitaram o Parque Fotovoltaico de Pracana, em Proença-a-Nova, numa verdadeira mudança de perspetiva.

Por algumas horas, trocaram as secretárias pela obra, com o objetivo de conhecer de perto as dinâmicas do projeto e a realidade operacional no terreno.

A visita permitiu ver aquilo que, muitas vezes, é acompanhado através de mapas, faturas e relatórios, reforçando a ideia de que cada número representa muito mais do que dados e processos: representa pessoas, equipas e projetos que contribuem para construir o futuro da energia.

No Group IGE, acreditamos que esta proximidade entre áreas contribui para uma visão mais integrada, consciente e colaborativa do trabalho que desenvolvemos.

From the office to the field.

Last week, Windpark’s Administrative and Finance teams visited the Pracana Photovoltaic Park, in Proença-a-Nova, in a true shift in perspective.

For a few hours, they exchanged their desks for the construction site, with the purpose of gaining a closer understanding of the project’s dynamics and operational reality on the ground.

The visit made it possible to see what is often followed through maps, invoices and reports, reinforcing the idea that every number represents much more than data and processes: it represents people, teams and projects that contribute to building the future of energy.

At Group IGE, we believe this connection between areas contributes to a more integrated, conscious and collaborative vision of the work we develop.

Concluiu-se a intervenção de substituição do muro de suporte de aterro e da passagem hidráulica ao Km 15+530 da EN 112, em Moradias, Pampilhosa da Serra.

Promovida pela Infraestruturas de Portugal, S.A., esta intervenção contribui para reforçar a segurança, estabilidade e funcionalidade desta infraestrutura rodoviária.

Hoje assinalamos o Dia Internacional dos Recursos Humanos no Group IGE. Para celebrar esta data de forma próxima, preparámos um conjunto de iniciativas internas pensadas para valorizar o papel das pessoas, reforçar a ligação entre equipas e criar momentos de partilha dentro da organização.

Today, Group IGE marks International Human Resources Day. To celebrate this occasion, we have prepared a set of internal initiatives designed to recognize the importance of people, strengthen the connection across our teams and create moments of sharing within the organization.

Among them is “RH às Avessas”, the most light-hearted moment of the day, where roles are reversed and employees become the interviewers of the Human Resources team, with unexpected questions, spontaneous answers and plenty of humour.

A hibridização tecnológica tem um papel cada vez mais relevante no setor das energias renováveis, tornando a integração de sistemas essencial para garantir eficiência, segurança e fiabilidade operacional.

Na Central Hidroelétrica de Pracana, em operação desde 1951, este desafio ganha uma nova dimensão com a integração de uma nova planta solar de 48 MW.
Neste projeto, o Group IGE assume, entre outros trabalhos, a integração dos sistemas de controlo e monitorização das duas tecnologias, através de um sistema SCADA local desenvolvido pela . Esta solução permite transformar dados complexos em informação útil para uma operação mais eficiente, segura e coordenada.

A integração entre uma infraestrutura hidroelétrica tradicional e uma tecnologia solar representa um desafio técnico significativo, reforçando o papel da hibridização como resposta estratégica para o futuro da energia renovável.

Technological hybridization is playing an increasingly relevant role in the renewable energy sector, making system integration essential to ensure efficiency, safety and operational reliability.

At the Pracana Hydroelectric Power Plant, in operation since 1951, this challenge takes on a new dimension with the integration of a new 48 MW solar plant.
In this project, Group IGE is responsible, among other scopes, for integrating the control and monitoring systems of both technologies through a local SCADA system developed by Isotrol. This solution transforms complex data into useful information for a more efficient, safe and coordinated operation.

The integration of a traditional hydroelectric infrastructure with solar technology represents a significant technical challenge, reinforcing hybridization as a strategic response for the future of renewable energy.
