AZO House

São Miguel Island, Azores · 2026

Set within the lush volcanic landscape of São Miguel, AZO House explores a dialogue between raw concrete, local basalt stone and warm timber. Large openings dissolve the boundaries between interior and landscape, while the infinity pool extends the architecture towards the surrounding mountains and dense vegetation.

A contemporary residence shaped by light, texture, and its surrounding landscape.

House #38 is defined by the dialogue between a solid upper volume and a transparent, warm ground floor, where concrete, wood, and glass create a quiet architectural composition.

The landscape plays an essential role: oceanic vegetation, oak trees, herbaceous planting, and soft grasses frame the house with a natural, almost coastal atmosphere. These layers of greenery bring movement, privacy, and seasonality, softening the geometry of the building and connecting the interior spaces to the garden, pool, and changing Azorean light.

The Red Cabinet, 2026

A sophisticated bar concept shaped by intimacy, elegance and timeless luxury. Deep red tones, dark wood panelling, brass accents, marble surfaces and warm ambient lighting come together to create a rich, immersive and atmospheric hospitality experience.

Inspired by the character of a private members’ club and the refinement of a contemporary cocktail bar, the project explores a balance between classic craftsmanship and cosmopolitan allure. Custom display cabinets, velvet seating, curated lighting and carefully detailed finishes define a space with a strong visual identity: intimate, theatrical and designed for memorable evenings.
