(pt) Uma forma que nasce da sua subtração.
O projeto parte da geometria e dos limites do terreno. Da área possível nasce um corpo único e compacto, que depois se trabalha por subtração. Escava-se para fazer entrar a luz, enquadrar a paisagem e criar os espaços.
O resultado é uma peça monolítica e discreta. A sul e a poente, abre-se à luz e às vistas sobre o vale. A norte, mais próxima da envolvente, recolhe-se.
Na aparente solidez do volume, são os vazios que revelam a forma de o habitar.
(en) A form born from its own subtraction.
The project begins with the geometry and the limits of the site. From the available area comes a single, compact body, then shaped by subtraction. It is carved to let the light in, to frame the landscape and to make its spaces.
The result is a monolithic, discreet piece. To the south and west it opens to the light and to the views over the valley. To the north, closer to its surroundings, it draws back.
In the apparent solidity of the volume, it is the voids that reveal how it is lived.
