After introducing Artspazios Experiences, we continue with ELEMENT 24.

The name of the space reflects the idea that guided the entire project: a dialogue between the five elements and the five senses, where architecture, design, materials, and well-being are all part of the same experience.

At ELEMENT, the elements reveal themselves through natural light, the texture of granite and wood, the sounds of the city, the scents, and the small rituals of everyday life. It is through the senses that the relationship between the contemporary and the memory of the place is forged.

Every detail was designed to be experienced: the light, the materials, the furniture, the view, and the way the space changes throughout the day.

At ELEMENT, architecture is experienced with all five senses.

For us, to inspire is to create experiences that bring people closer to architecture, to a place, and to a more mindful way of living.

It was from this desire that Artspazios Experiences was born: an extension of the ARTSPAZIOS universe created to transform spaces into real experiences, lived by those who inhabit them.

ELEMENT 24 is the first embodiment of this concept.

A house in the historic heart of Viseu, available for stays of a few days, where architecture, design, materials, and well-being come together in an experience designed to be savored over time.

A House That Belongs to Its Setting
The identity of a house is also shaped by the culture and landscape that surround it.
Pergolas inspired by traditional vineyard structures, Portuguese grapevines, outdoor spaces covered in greenery and Mediterranean planting create a close relationship between architecture, territory and a local way of living.
The language is classical, the integration is contemporary and the details evoke a subtle Portuguese identity — not by reproducing the past, but by giving it a new expression.

Classic Architecture Can Be Contemporary

Architecture does not need to break away from the past to respond to the present.
In this project, classical principles are reinterpreted and adapted to the client’s vision, the scale of the house and the character of the site. Arches, carefully considered proportions, a natural Portuguese Lioz stone base and cornice coexist with large openings, irregular wall textures and a distinctly contemporary way of living.
A home with charm, identity and memory — designed for today.

In this rehabilitation project, the concrete spiral staircase emerges from the structure itself, designed and built to respond to the geometry of the space, the natural light and the experience of moving through it.

Each step is the result of architecture, engineering and craftsmanship, where precision matters as much as form.

Before it became finished architecture, it was material, calculation and construction.
