Great news!
We are grateful and honoured to receive the First Prize of the International Competition for the Modernization of Nicolae Balcescu Theoretical Highschool in Cluj-Napoca, Romania!
The Jury concluded that "The proposed intervention creates, 127 years later, a contemporary replica of the old 'Nicolae Balcescu' Highschool, a presence that imposes iself through its human scale, natural elegance and the noble simplicity of classicism. The project succeds in reinterpreting these qualities of the old architecture of Cluj without making any concessions to modernity and without pastiching the historical model."
