Transimont completed the er****on of the 120 Tons/h heating Furnace at LDL facilities in Tarnos France 🇫🇷

The furnace was completed with the pushing system, the kick-off machines, the combustion air pipes and the waste gas duct, stairs and platforms

We also completed the er****on of the Water Treatment Plant with the installation of the main pumps, the sand filters, the filter press, the scraper bridge device and all the interconnecting pipes and valves outside and inside the mill

Activities will now proceed with the installation of the 3 hydraulic units and relative 12 valve stands to connect to the interconnecting hydraulic pipes of the utilities and with the installation of the high pressure water system able to feed the primary and secondary descaler units

We are also completing the er****on of the oxygen torch cutting systems for slabs and sheets

It was a very good job performed by our teams, started in January 17 with the er****on of the 24 meters cooling bed

With the pre-assembly of the 45' degrees sector of the Rotating Furnace we succeeded the realization of the Tenaris Bay City project.
We constructed 937 Tons performing about 110.000 hours.
Thanks to our Client Tenova Loi Genova for the trust

We have started this week our third main welding course for our welders.
Scope of the course is to implemented new welding techniques together with our already certificate welders and at the same time to qualify 28 welders not yet in possession of the certificate.

The course, involving 28 Transimont's welders is lead by Mr. Dan Curea, Technical Director of Zalau Hall.
He will be assisted by Mr. Radu Rafa, Mr. Laslo Ghita and Mr. Emil Grigorescu from Transimont.
Mr. Laslo obtained the Welding European Certificate in September 2014

The theoretical part will be treated in the classroom on Saturday morning while the practice will be supervised by our Lectors during the weekly program production.
The course will run for 6 months, the final exam will be on Octomber 2015.

Transimont continues with its growth to ensure quality of the products supplied for the satisfaction of its Customers.

We wish to all our welders participants a fruitful learning.

We complete with success the tests of the equipments of "rotating device for RHF rotative furnace"
Supply is composed by 192 wheel supports, 160 fixed foundation supports, 16 centering devices completed with its foundation support, 48 trays and its relevant lifting devices.
Many compliments to all our production, technical, CTC controls and management staff.
To complete the entire scope of supply we are proceeding with the construction of the structural parts of the RHF rotative furnace - 380 Tons, mandrel furnace 115 Tons and for the no.2 TT furnace 580 Tons.
I wish a good job to all our team !!
