Bahra Transformers and Busways Solutions began in 2015 in partnership between Bahra Electric and Legrand. In line with Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030 Vision, Bahra Electric has acquired on Transformers and Busways Solutions Company (TBS) in 2021 and has signed a license agreement with Legrand France SA permitting to use the same existing designs and knowhow. Bahra-TBS Cast Resin Transformers with 1600kVA, 13800/400V have successfully passed a series of Seismic Tests as per IEC 60076-11:2018.
The tests performed are:
- Measurement of winding resistance
- Measurement of voltage ratio and check of phase displacement
- Measurement of short-circuit impedance and load loss
- Measurement of no-load loss and current
- Applied voltage test
- Induced voltage withstand test
- Partial discharge measurement
