UNIMAC is proud to announce the successful verification and publication of Environmental Product Declarations for four asphalt mixes, becoming the first asphalt production line in Saudi Arabia to achieve this milestone.

The declarations provide independently verified environmental performance data, reinforcing our commitment to transparency and data-driven sustainability. They also support green building certification programs such as LEED and Mostadam, encourage sustainable procurement, and enable clients and stakeholders to make informed decisions based on credible environmental information.

This achievement marks another important milestone in UNIMAC’s sustainability journey and strengthens our commitment to delivering environmentally responsible infrastructure solutions.

تفخر يونيماك بالإعلان عن نجاح اعتماد ونشر إعلانات المنتجات البيئية لأربع خلطات أسفلتية، لتصبح بذلك أول خط إنتاج للأسفلت في المملكة العربية السعودية يحقق هذا الإنجاز.

As part of UNIMAC’s ongoing workforce welfare and heat stress prevention initiatives during the summer season, a hydration awareness and water bottle distribution activity was conducted within a designated rest and recovery area to support worker comfort and well-being in high-temperature conditions.

Ensuring access to clean drinking water and promoting proper hydration remain essential to protecting worker health, welfare, and operational performance across site activities.

This initiative reflects our continued commitment to proactive engagement, employee welfare, and healthier work environments aligned with the Kingdom’s evolving standards for workforce care and sustainable development under Vision 2030.

استضاف قسم البيئة والاستدامة مشاركي برنامج تدريب الخريجين في يونيماك لمدة أسبوع في مشروع حلبة السرعة في القدية، حيث أتاح لطلاب الهندسة المدنية فرصة التعرّف عملياً على ممارسات الإدارة البيئية والاستدامة ضمن بيئة مشروع حقيقية.

ومن خلال جلسات تدريبية وزيارات ميدانية، اطّلع المتدربون على مجموعة من الموضوعات الرئيسية، شملت الالتزام البيئي، وإدارة النفايات، والحد من التلوث، والمراقبة البيئية، ومتطلبات المواصفة الدولية لنظام الإدارة البيئية «آيزو ١٤٠٠١»، والمعايير البيئية والاجتماعية والحوكمة، والبصمة الكربونية، وممارسات البناء المستدام، بما في ذلك مبادئ نظام الريادة في تصميمات الطاقة والبيئة ونظام مستدام.

UNIMAC celebrated the achievement of five million man-hours without a Lost Time Injury, in collaboration with Qiddiya Investment Company and TFD Company.

This milestone reflects the shared commitment of all teams to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance. It is the result of strong leadership, consistent discipline, teamwork, and a shared responsibility to protect people and promote a safe working environment across every stage of the project.

The celebration was held at UNIMAC’s main office in Qiddiya in recognition of the dedication and collective efforts that contributed to this outstanding achievement.

احتفلت يونيماك بتحقيق خمسة ملايين ساعة عمل دون تسجيل أي إصابة أدت إلى فقدان وقت العمل، وذلك بالتعاون مع شركة القدية للاستثمار وشركة تي إف دي.

ويجسّد هذا الإنجاز التزام جميع الفرق بأعلى معايير الصحة والسلامة والبيئة، كما يعكس ثمرة القيادة الفعالة، والانضباط المستمر، والعمل الجماعي، والمسؤولية المشتركة في حماية الأفراد وتعزيز بيئة عمل آمنة في جميع مراحل المشروع.

وقد أُقيم الاحتفال في المكتب الرئيسي لشركة يونيماك في القدية، تقديراً للجهود الجماعية والتفاني الذي أسهم في تحقيق هذا الإنجاز المميز.

The Environmental and Sustainability Department hosted participants of the UNIMAC Graduate Internship Program for one week at the Qiddiya Speed Park Project, providing Civil Engineering undergraduates with practical exposure to environmental management and sustainability in real project conditions.

Through classroom sessions and site visits, the interns explored key topics including environmental compliance, waste management, pollution prevention, environmental monitoring, ISO 14001, ESG, carbon footprint, and sustainable construction practices, including LEED and MOSTADAM principles.

By connecting academic knowledge with field experience, the program helped future engineers build the awareness, skills, and mindset needed to contribute to sustainable development in the construction industry.

استضاف قسم البيئة والاستدامة مشاركي برنامج تدريب الخريجين في يونيماك لمدة أسبوع في مشروع Qiddiya Speed Park، حيث أتاح لطلاب الهندسة المدنية فرصة التعرّف عملياً على ممارسات الإدارة البيئية والاستدامة ضمن بيئة مشروع حقيقية.
