⁨ استقبل صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير عبدالعزيز بن طلال بن عبدالعزيز، رئيس مجلس إدارة #أجفند، في مقر البرنامج بالرياض، 19 من زوجات السفراء، إلى جانب زوجة المنسق المقيم للأمم المتحدة لدى المملكة، في زيارة جسّدت أهمية التواصل الدولي في تعزيز الشراكات الإنسانية والتنموية، وتبادل الرؤى حول المبادرات الرامية إلى تمكين الإنسان وتحقيق التنمية المستدامة.

وشهدت الزيارة مشاركة المؤسسات الشقيقة ومؤسسة طلال الخيرية ومؤسسة أحياها الإنسانية، حيث جرى تسليط الضوء على الرسالة التنموية والإنسانية لهذه المؤسسات، واستعراض أبرز مجالات عملها ومبادراتها الرائدة في الاستثمار في الإنسان، وتعزيز فرص التمكين، وتحسين جودة الحياة، وترسيخ نهج التنمية الشاملة والمستدامة.

وتضمّن برنامج الزيارة جولة في معرض الأمير طلال بن عبدالعزيز، اطّلعت خلالها الضيفات على إرثه الإنساني والتنموي الممتد، ومسيرته الحافلة بالعطاء، وإسهاماته الرائدة في إرساء مبادرات ومؤسسات جعلت من كرامة الإنسان وتمكينه محورًا للتنمية وأساسًا لاستدامة أثرها.

HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of ’s Board of Directors, welcomed 19 spouses of ambassadors, along with the spouse of the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Saudi Arabia. The visit underscored the importance of international engagement in fostering humanitarian and development partnerships and exchanging perspectives on initiatives aimed at empowering people and advancing sustainable development.

The visit also brought together representatives of AGFUND’s sister organizations, Talal Foundation and Ahyaha Humanity Foundation, highlighting their shared humanitarian and development missions. Discussions showcased their key areas of work and pioneering initiatives focused on investing in people, expanding empowerment opportunities, improving quality of life, and promoting inclusive and sustainable development.

The program also included a guided tour of the Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz Exhibition, offering guests insights into his enduring humanitarian and development legacy, his lifelong commitment to serving humanity, and his pioneering contributions to establishing institutions and initiatives that place human dignity and empowerment at the heart of development, ensuring a lasting and sustainable impact.⁩

اختتم وفد #أجفند مشاركته في الاجتماعات السنوية للبنك الدولي وصندوق النقد الدولي 2026 في بانكوك، بسلسلة من اللقاءات رفيعة المستوى مع المؤسسات المالية والمنظمات الدولية وشركاء التنمية.

وتركزت مخرجات المشاركة على توسيع آفاق الشراكات التنموية، واستكشاف فرص التعاون في تطوير مبادرات مشتركة لتعزيز الشمول المالي والرقمي، والتمكين الاقتصادي للمرأة والشباب، ودعم الأمن الغذائي وصمود المجتمعات في مواجهة التحديات الاقتصادية والمناخية، بما يسهم في تعظيم الأثر التنموي وتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة.

The delegation concluded its participation in the 2026 Annual Meetings of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Bangkok, following a series of high-level engagements with financial institutions, international organizations, and development partners.

Key outcomes included exploring opportunities to strengthen development partnerships and advance joint initiatives focused on financial and digital inclusion, women’s and youth economic empowerment, food security, and community resilience to economic and climate-related challenges, with the aim of maximizing development impact and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

وناقش الجانبان سبل تعزيز التعاون في مجالات الشمول المالي والتمويل الأصغر، ودعم التمكين الاقتصادي للمرأة والشباب في أفريقيا، إلى جانب استكشاف فرص تطوير برامج ومبادرات مشتركة تسهم في تلبية الأولويات التنموية للقارة وتعزيز التنمية المستدامة.

On the sidelines of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) Annual Meetings in Bangkok, CEO Hammam bin Juraied met with Dr. Hanan Morsy, Deputy Executive Secretary (Programme) and Chief Economist of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA).

As part of its efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships and expand their development impact, AGFUND’s CEO, Mr. Hammam bin Juraied, met with the United Nations Deputy Secretary-General, Ms. Amina J. Mohammed, on the sidelines of the Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group (WBG) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Bangkok.

The meeting highlighted ’s longstanding contributions to sustainable development and its enduring partnership with the United Nations system. Discussions also focused on AGFUND’s new strategic direction and opportunities to deepen collaboration in financial and digital inclusion, food security, and development initiatives across Africa, with a view to empowering communities, strengthening their resilience, and accelerating progress towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
