Colourful November! We’re taking the chance to make a shout out for Boscus AB (Swedish distributor of Arbortec Forestwear) and their campaign for “Barncancerfonden”. Arbortec does not only makes one of the most comfortable saw protection pants we ever tried, they also makes the most fancy ones money can buy...
And on top of it...during November Boscus donates 15% of the sales to “Barncancerfonden” as a result of our proposal. We don’t get paid to say it, we just think it’s a very good initiative!

And by the way...you don’t need a 90cc saw with a 36” bar to bring down a big size Pine (Pinus sylvestris)... all it takes is a Husqvarna 550XPGmk2 ...😉

“Monday you can fall apart...”
Started up the week by a nice little birch...to end up with “dead wooding” another one a little bit bigger. And yes, it was completely dead so we went all down to the stump...Now packed up for tomorrow’s job! “Tuesday Wednesday breaks my heart”

We had a wet but anyway fantastic day yesterday together with ! Two climbing jobs, some ground felling and Börje got to show his skills with the . Thanks for good cooperation!

BJM ON TOUR!
Last stop we did in Västra Kovik, Nyköping to bring down some 7-8 pines. All of them except one were felled from the ground but the last one we had to climb due to heavy lean toward house and power lines.

Just around the corner from this work spot you can find (Tunaberg/Koppartorp), one of the best crags in Sweden. Unfortunately we didn’t have any time to spend on rock climbing this time...but we’ll be back!

BJM ON TOUR!
First stop on our “Sörmland Tour” came to be Vrena to bring down this oak (Quercus Robur). It was a pretty big one at 90cm at the bottom end, we calculated the first 3,8m to a weight of at least 1,7 tons. Happily we had a great and curious audience!

Thanks for the trust to carry out this task, we had fun all the way!

And yes, it would have been nice to use the stem to cut planks but there were no other options than to buck it up as fire wood. For some hours we felt just like ...😉 @ Vrena
