Solar power production on local houses is an important part of the solution to future energy needs. Solar power production estimation is a complex calculation depending on many variables for example, solar radiation on the location of the house, tilt of the roof, angle of the place of panels in relation to south, effect of solar panels, the system that converts the electricity and so on. The investment calculation is also complex where a lot of variables will build up to money saved from less purchase of electricity and money earned on electricity. Variables like tax credit, nätnytta, elcertifikat, solcellstöd, ROT avdrag, VAT and income tax and so on. Thus, we have made a GIS-based user friendly application that works for both consumers and solar panel producers. Solkollen is an online interactive calculator that estimates the energy production from the roofs of location and estimate the cost of energy of grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) systems. Consumers can get the estimation of energy production from their roof and cost of energy of solar panel system and by registering themselves in the system they would give us the permission to sell their contact info to solar panel suppliers. Take the test for free and find out how much you can save and earn: http://www.solkollen.nu/test/
