⚠️RESCHEDULE TO 29 Aug⚠️People always see the finished landscape, but not the hours spent thinking about every little detail before a single plant goes in.

Every project starts with a blank space and one question:
“How do we make this place feel different?”

Some ideas come instantly. Others take a few sketches, a few walks around the site, and a lot of moving plants around until everything just feels right.

It’s one of my favourite parts of what I do.

The landscape is the art.
I’m just grateful I get to be the artist behind it. 🌿

Thanks to everyone who’s trusted us with your homes, offices and events. There are many more landscapes to create.

Maybe slow living isn’t about doing less.

Maybe it’s about creating spaces that make you want to slow down.

A quiet morning by the pool.
The sound of leaves moving with the wind.
A home that feels a little softer every time you step outside.

For this project, we layered tropical plants to create a lush poolside retreat that feels private, calming, and alive. The kind of space that doesn’t ask for attention, but quietly invites you to stay a little longer.

This is just a sneak peek. 🌿

We’ll be sharing more details from this project

Stay tuned.

Why orchids?

For this Passion Made Possible installation, the orchid was chosen as the key floral element, a fitting representation of Singapore’s national flower and everything it stands for: resilience, elegance, diversity and continuous growth.

Our role was to bring that vision to life.

To achieve the floating effect, each orchid was carefully installed using the kokedama method, where the root ball is wrapped securely in moss. This allowed us to suspend the orchids upside down while keeping the planting medium contained, so no moss or soil would fall out during the installation.

Every orchid was individually secured, adjusted and positioned to create a display that looked natural from every angle. It’s the kind of detail most people won’t notice, but it makes all the difference in the final result.

Beyond their beauty, orchids have long been a symbol of Singapore. They represent resilience, excellence and diversity; qualities that reflect how a small nation has continued to grow, adapt and thrive. Their ability to bloom throughout the year also mirrors Singapore’s spirit of continuous progress and innovation.

That’s why orchids are more than just a beautiful flower. They tell a story. And when they’re showcased with intention, they become part of the experience, not just the decoration.

We’re grateful to have played a part in bringing that story to life.

We spend so much time trying to recharge ourselves.

Coffee. Vacations. Weekends. Self-care.

But we rarely ask whether the place we spend the most time in is helping… or working against us; that is our home.

Your home is where your mind is constantly taking in information, even when you don’t realise it. Clutter, harsh lines, empty corners, or the absence of nature can quietly make a space feel more tiring than it needs to be.

That’s one of the reasons we love creating zenscapes.

It’s not about filling every corner with plants. It’s about creating moments that help your mind slow down. The sound of natural textures, calming greenery, and intentional landscaping can completely change how a home feels.

A home should help you recharge after a long day, not leave you feeling like you never really switched off.

If your home feels like it’s missing something but you can’t quite put your finger on it, it might not be the furniture.
It might just need a little more nature…

We saw an opportunity to create a landmark on this column that would otherwise go unnoticed

Wrapped in layers of greenery and finished with the Singapore Airlines logo, this plant wall was designed to bring warmth and a stronger sense of identity into the space.

ROS142 – Javier | Outdoor Balcony & Indoor Zen Rock Garden

For the balcony, we used a mix of snake plants and agaves to create a clean, low-maintenance landscape that thrives with minimal care. Their sculptural forms add interest without overwhelming the space, making them ideal for homeowners who want greenery without the upkeep.

Indoors, we created a faux zen rock garden using natural textures, moss accents and carefully placed boulders. Paired with soft planting and a feature dracaena, the arrangement brings a sense of balance and quiet to the corner..

Whether it’s a sunny balcony or an indoor nook, the right landscape can completely change how a space feels.

After styling events, homes, offices, and commercial spaces for years, here are a few things I’ve learnt along the way:

☀️ Sunlight matters more than you think.
A plant may look great in a dark corner for a few months, but over time it starts to weaken, lose immunity, and become more susceptible to pests. No amount of neem oil can truly fix a plant then 😢

💡 Good lighting transforms a garden.
A simple garden light, glowing orb, or a few well-placed spike lights can completely change how a space feels at night. Sometimes it’s the little details that make a garden feel magical!!

🌱 A touch of faux greenery is okay too.
Used thoughtfully, even a few faux plants can soften harsh corners and bring warmth to spaces where live plants may not thrive 💕

💧 Low maintenance is underrated.
The best gardens are often the ones that fit your lifestyle. Less chores, more joy. If watering is a challenge, consider a simple irrigation system and let your garden take care of itself.

At the end of the day, great landscaping isn’t about squeezing as many plants as possible into a space.

It’s about creating a space that works beautifully for both the plants and the people living with them ❤️

Looking back, it’s hard to believe that Rayne or Shine is approaching its 5th year ☺️

What started with tiny terrariums and succulent pots has slowly grown into something much bigger than I ever imagined! Along the way, we’ve pivoted countless times and marched forward from retail, popups and workshops, to events, landscaping, and large activations. From creating little pieces for tabletops to transforming homes, offices, and event spaces ✨

Every step has pushed me outside my comfort zone. There were many moments where I felt completely out of my depth, but having incredible friends, teammates, clients, and supporters who believed in us really made the journey worthwhile 🥰

The past few years have been a whirlwind. We’ve been so busy building that I haven’t shared as much of the journey as I would’ve liked. As we approach our 400th project, I’ve found myself reflecting on how much I’ve learnt, how much we’ve grown, and how much joy it still brings me see my vision and greenery come to life in people’s homes and events 💕

Will share more BTS of what we’ve been cooking and honestly, it still feels like we’re only getting started 😉

We’re moving into a new space.
We’re growing the team.
We’re dreaming bigger than ever before.

Whether you’ve been here since the terrarium days (or even back during the home nursery days 🤣) or only joined recently, thank you for being part of the story ❤️

Here’s to the next chapter.

For this project, we focused on structure, spacing, and long-term performance.

ROS39 – Ming Residential Desertscape Planterbox is built where each plant is selected for form stability, sun tolerance, and low water demand in Singapore’s climate.

Plant selection leans towards architectural species, upright cacti, compact succulents, and drought-tolerant accents, arranged with deliberate spacing to avoid overcrowding and allow airflow between plants.

Natural boulders are introduced not just for aesthetics, but as visual anchors to stabilise the composition and distribute weight across the planter.

If you’re looking for a low-maintenance landscape with strong form and longevity,
