Consumer Acceptance of the Future Food Environment

Consumer Acceptance of the Future Food Environment Understanding and improving perceptions, attitudes and consumption of future foods.

We are a group of researchers based in A*STAR, SIFBI/IHPC** and UCL** who are interested in understanding and improving attitudes and consumption of future foods. 'Future foods' may include alternative proteins, food by-products and products of urban farming. These present potential sustainable high-impact solutions to global problems such as food security and mitigating impacts of climate change.

In our current study, we are looking at exploring attitudes of regular consumers of plant-based meat alternatives (PBMA). What types of PBMA products have consumers adopted in their diet and what motivates their intake in the long term? These are questions we are intending to answer and you may help us in our research by participating in our ongoing survey.
