🌿 Eco Village Saigon River: Where Architecture Meets Nature

At Eco Village Saigon River, design isn’t imposed on nature – it’s shaped by it. Fluid layouts flow with daily life, greenery weaves through spaces like water, and every element tells a story of belonging and vitality.

More than a visual experience, the design is rooted in belonging and vitality. Each element is shaped by its environment, creating spaces that foster well-being, strengthen connections to nature, and nurture a true sense of place.

At Swan & Maclaren, we believe in designing for harmony – building communities where people and planet thrive together.

Celebrating 60 Years of Nation-Building with Design that Endures

🌱 Swan & Maclaren at the 11th Quarterly Sustainable Development Mekong Delta (SDMD) Dialogue

We are proud to share that Ar. Hung Seng YEW, Vice President of Architecture, represented Swan & Maclaren at the 11th Quarterly Sustainable Development Mekong Delta (SDMD) Dialogue – where regional experts gathered to discuss the future of the marine economy in the Mekong Delta.

In his presentation, Ar. Hung Seng shared insights on how sustainable landscape architecture, smart coastal panning, and resilient urban frameworks can power long-term economic development while preserving ecological integrity.

Drawing on Singapore’s urban evolution, he reflected on how design must work with and not against nature:
❛❛Through our works at Swan & Maclaren, we've seen how coastal spaces can be shaped into more than just economic zones. They can become places where nature, culture and community come together. This guides how we design waterfronts that are inclusive, resilient and deeply connected to their surroundings.❜❜

🌍 Thank you to the organisers and partners for dynamic exchange of ideas towards a more sustainable Mekong Delta.

Pattaya Villa – Heritage Meets Hospitality

Drawing from Thailand’s rich traditions of welcome, Pattaya Villa blends local heritage and artistry into a meaningful escape. Designed by Swan & Maclaren Thailand, the heart of the project is a communal restaurant — a place where meals bring people together, and stories are shared.

Eight villas and shared spaces celebrate Thai craftsmanship through timber, stone, and natural finishes that age beautifully with time — reinterpreted in a contemporary way to feel warm yet refined.

Guided by our belief in “Truth to Real Treasure,” Pattaya Villa shows that true luxury is rooted in place, time, and community.

🚀 Player Box @ Siam Discovery
Bangkok just got a whole lot more fun, and Swan & Maclaren is proud to be behind the design.

We turned a typical 4th-floor retail space into Player Box, a bold, high-energy destination where go-kart racing, padel tennis, arcade gaming, and karaoke all come together under one roof. Designed for families, teens, and fun-seekers of every age, it’s a space that moves with you.

From dynamic lighting and climate-controlled karting to clear zoning between action-packed zones, every detail was designed to spark curiosity and keep people engaged.

Player Box is bringing a fresh kind of energy to the heart of Siam. Interactive, social, and full of reasons to come back.

🎓 Swan & Maclaren welcomes Executive MBA students from William & Mary University

🕌 Preserving Heritage, Enabling Community – Jamae Mosque

At Swan & Maclaren, we’re honoured to have contributed to the restoration and enhancement of Jamae Mosque, one of Singapore’s oldest mosques and a treasured National Monument.

Collaborating with a conservation specialist, our team carried out careful preservation works across the mosque’s interior and exterior, while introducing upgrades to support ongoing religious and community functions. Additions such as a new trellis structure and improved classroom spaces ensure the site continues to serve as a welcoming, inclusive space for worship, learning, and gathering.

As we approach Hari Raya Haji, we celebrate the enduring role of spaces like Jamae Mosque in anchoring community and faith across generations.

🏆 Swan & Maclaren at the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2025

We’re proud to share that our project at 239 & 241 Cantonment Road has received two honours at the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2025–2026:

▪ Public Service Architecture
▪ Public Service Development

Behind this award-winning project is Yeong Kang K. and his team, whose leadership, creativity, and attention to detail made this achievement possible. We celebrate their dedication and contribution to public architecture that matters.

At the awards event in Bangkok, Christopher Mo, General Manager for Thailand and Vietnam, joined an industry panel to speak on sustainable design in Southeast Asia. He shared:
❛❛ Our approach to sustainability must be context-specific to create meaningful impact. In dense urban centres like Singapore, Hong Kong, and Bangkok—where land is limited and monsoon seasons are common—rainwater harvesting, alongside solar and wind energy, offers a viable solution to reduce water consumption and waste. As architects, we must design with a deep awareness of local conditions, constraints, and resources to create buildings that are both enduring and environmentally responsive.❜❜

Thank you to International Property Awards for this meaningful recognition—and to our clients and partners for your ongoing trust and support.
