Upon entering the hotelโ€™s cafe, guests and patrons are greeted by a tiered landscape garden with spacious seating areas and a gentle flight of steps shrouded in lush greenery that leads up towards the second floor, which encompasses a Japanese Izakaya Restaurant (Kaya at The Standard), an infinity swimming pool, and an open-air botanical courtyard.

Envisioned as a โ€œCampus-in-a-Parkโ€, ๐ŸŽ“Singapore Institute of Technology(SIT) Punggol Campus, located in the heart of Punggol Digital District, blends nature with urban design, achieving a 100% landscape replacement ๐ŸŒฟ. From green walls and roof gardens to communal planters and an ecological pond, the campus supports ecosystems and regulates micro-climates while creating social spaces. It even features ABC water systems like rain gardens and biotopes that naturally filter stormwater ๐ŸŒง before it reaches public drains.

The City of Melbourne and the Victorian Government have completed a $2.5M green roof retrofit at the Old Treasury Building Museum, transforming 700m2 into a lush rooftop garden. Constructed by Evergreen Infrastructure using Elmich Green Roof Systems, this project aims to address industry knowledge gaps and barriers to green roof adoption while bolstering the case for implementing more green roofs across Melbourne and southeastern Australia.

In the midst of a recent rejuvenation of a roof garden atop a multi-storey car park in Punggol Field, 27-year-old NORDRAINยฎ subsoil drainage cells were unearthed in remarkably pristine condition, proving their exceptional durability and long-term performance. Embracing sustainability and minimising construction waste, these drainage cells were reused (reinstalled) for this roof garden.
