Behind the Scenes – Beauwood GRG Production

Every quality project starts long before installation.

Our team is currently working around the clock to produce custom GRG (Glass Fibre Reinforced Gypsum) components, ensuring every piece meets the required profile, dimensions and finishing standards before delivery.

From mould preparation and hand lay-up to reinforcement, curing and quality inspection, every stage is carefully controlled to achieve precision and consistency. Although this work happens behind the scenes, it is the foundation of a successful installation on site.

At Beauwood, we are committed to delivering high-quality architectural solutions while meeting demanding project schedules.

Quality takes time, but deadlines matter too. We’re pushing hard to ensure every GRG component is delivered on time without compromising workmanship.

Kallang Wave Mall – Project Progress Update

We are proud to announce that Beauwood Plaster Design Pte Ltd has been awarded the Kallang Wave Mall Asset Enhancement Project.

The project forms part of the mall’s major transformation, which will deliver a refreshed lifestyle and retail destination while the mall remains operational.

Our current scope of work includes:

✅ Metal Ceiling Works

* Custom perforated aluminium ceiling system
* Feature geometric ceiling installation
* Mock-up fabrication and installation
* Architectural feature ceiling with integrated linear lighting

✅ Tenant Drywall Partition Works

* Metal stud framing
* Rockwool acoustic insulation
* High-performance gypsum board partition system
* Fire-rated and acoustic wall construction for future retail tenants

The mock-up installation for the feature metal ceiling is now in progress, allowing the consultant and client team to review workmanship, alignment, finishing quality, and overall architectural appearance before full-scale production.

At the same time, our team has commenced the tenant drywall partition works, including framing, insulation installation, and gypsum board installation to support the mall’s upcoming retail fit-out.

This project showcases Beauwood’s expertise in delivering high-quality architectural ceiling and drywall systems for large-scale commercial developments in Singapore.
