After all that aggression, here’s an article from Eoghan Walsh showing why we love beer in the first place, and why there’s no better time to be a beer lover.
Nanobrasserie de l'Ermitage are a few young guys following solid principles, making great beer, labelled with beautiful designs.
When this magazine started 5 years ago there were two Brussels breweries. Now there are at least 6, and in their own way, they’re all making good beer.
The small community of Brussels beer fans is open, diverse, creative and growing by the day. It’s an example of something that’s happening from Moscow to Sao Paulo.
So, thanks to Brasserie Cantillon for keeping the flame burning for so long. Thanks to Brasserie de la Senne for pushing things forward in the best possible way. Thanks to all the brewers: Brussels Beer Project, No Science Brasserie En Stoemelings: Brasserie - Brouwerij - Brewery Beerstorming for doing things their own way, while keeping quality high. Thanks to Moeder Lambic Original for being both one of the world’s most highly respected bars, and a celebration of craft and Brussels beer.
Thanks to all the tasters, ambassadors, writers, festival organisers for spreading the word. And thanks to all the small bar owners for taking a risk, so that they can bring something to the city and make life a bit more pleasant for others.
Peace out everyone!
