Longboard trucks are one of the most important components to ensure a safe and pleasant ride. You can install many different truck/bushing combinations on your standard longboard. The prices for a set of trucks start at around $50 and could be as high as $400 or more for a decent set of precision trucks. But most importantly the rider is able choose a truck and bushing combo that suits their riding style, budget and quality.

On electric longboards on the other hand, the rider is forced to use a truck combination that was installed by the manufacturer and is not able to change the setup with a different one that would suit the rider's needs better. The situation is even worse because some manufacturers of e-boards are reducing costs and are installing cheap and low performance trucks on their boards. When the speeds get higher, setups like these become extremely dangerous to ride.

At Nextboards, we decided to go the opposite way! Our motors can be installed on almost any truck on the market and you can choose the quality and performance you want. We linked up with Ivo in Koper because for ages he's been dreaming of riding the hairpin on his local longboarding spot uphill. With its 4WD system, twin battery setup and fine-tuned controllers, Nextboards finally made it happen!
