How small a person feels in the presence of such magnificent animals.

A mother bear drives her cubs away when they are around two years old, as she is likely already preparing for a new family that will arrive during the winter. This was the first time I had the opportunity to witness this important moment in their lives.

Two slightly confused young bears, probably unable to understand why their mother suddenly no longer needed them, stood beside a powerful and majestic female. A beautiful bear who may already be carrying the next generation beneath her heart.

All of these photographs were taken from a concealed photography hide, so the bears were completely unaware of my presence. I was merely a silent observer, watching a small fragment of their wild world unfold before me. 🐻❤️Photos and text by Zoran Vidrih.
