The doors and windows in this project perfectly encapsulate the essence of Modern Colonial design, utilizing a refined palette of soft grey and crisp white to bridge tradition with modernity. A key architectural highlight includes the elegant arched windows, alongside classic multi-pane casement windows that flood the corridors with warm, natural sunlight. The interior doors present a beautiful contrast, ranging from contemporary vertical-grooved wooden panels to timeless double glass doors framed in muted grey with traditional metallic hardware. These elements, characterized by clean lines and balanced proportions, beautifully complement the vintage-patterned floor tiles, resulting in a bright, sophisticated, and welcoming living space.

[Fretwork Panels:
Modern + Colonial Style House
Location: Chiang Kham, Phayao, Thailand
-

The charm of this Modern Colonial style house is elevated by contemporary fretwork panels that re-imagine traditional intricate patterns through clean geometric shapes. These sophisticated screens adorn the carport and the shaded front porch, offering a perfect balance of privacy and aesthetic appeal. By distilling classic ornamental details into modern minimalist lines, the design creates a captivating play of light and shadow. This architectural choice maintains a timeless elegance while providing a breezy, stylish atmosphere that seamlessly bridges the gap between heritage and modern living.
