Poem Mountain -

Our design for a 21 room boutique city hotel, located in leafy Da Nang, Vietnam. The orientation of the site offered dual river aspect from the land above 2nd floor level. The street is named after the famous 19th century Vietnamese poet Duong Khue. At ground level the cafe extends from front to back, claiming the pedestrian walkway. The top of the building is home to a rooftop pool, gym and open air bar to enjoy the riverside fireworks.

Our concept combines the rugged, landscaped infused cliff face of the nearby Marble Mountain, with the terracotta warmth associated with ancient Cham architecture of the region.

The hotel is viewed as an inhabited manmade cliff that becomes a retreat for travelers and poets alike. Internally, Duong Khue’s poetry will be carved in to key feature walls and floors. It is hoped that the relaxing atmosphere created inspires guests to write a poem of their own!

A private family estate located on the northern hills of Koh Samui Island, Thailand, integrates 3 villas onto a gently sloping, tranquil site. The land enjoys spectacular views of the azur sea and neighbouring island, whilst the villas have been tailored to each member of the family.

The planning encourages connections and forms shared social spaces in-between each home (fruit terraces, firepit, pétanque playing field), whilst also providing privacy from one another. Organic pools, fruit and vegetable terraces and lush tropical landscape help the villas to integrate and belong to this majestic hillside location.

We were recently honoured to be a winner in the LIV Hospitality Design Awards 2025, in the Architectural Design - Villa category, for our Sea Renity Villa project. Located on the tropical island of Koh Samui, Thailand, the brief called for a luxurious 7-bedroom villa, set on a stunning sunset, beach front setting, with views to the neighbouring islands.
