ส่วนของบ้านไม้เดิมที่จะมาเล่าเรื่องราวของครอบครัวใหม่ กับส่วนบ้านตึกใหม่ที่เล่าเรื่องราวผ่านภาษาของเรือนไม้เก่า

โครงการ Private House ในย่านถนนจันทน์ ที่มีอาคารเดิมเป็นเรือนไม้เก่า กับเรือนตึกที่ต่อเติมในรุ่นที่สอง จนเปลี่ยนผ่านมาเจ้าของใหม่ที่เป็นคนในพื้นที่ เพื่อเก็บภาพจำและบอกเล่าเรื่องราวของครอบครัวที่กำลังต้อนรับสมาชิกใหม่

Site Story | Old Timber House, Retold

The original timber house becomes the medium for telling the story of a new family, while the newly built masonry house speaks through a design language derived from the old wooden structure.

This private house project, located in the Chan Road area, originally comprised a traditional timber house and a masonry extension added by the second generation. Today, it has passed into the hands of a new owner from the neighborhood. The design seeks to preserve collective memories and to narrate the story of a family welcoming a new chapter—and a new member—into their lives.

We are grateful to share that our work has been recognized with two international design awards this year: a Silver Winner at the IDA Design Awards 2025 and an Honorable Mention from the Architecture MasterPrize. We sincerely appreciate the juries for their consideration and recognition.

We are also pleased to note that the IDA Design Awards Ceremony will be held in Bangkok at ICONSIAM on February 8, 2026, as part of Bangkok Design Week 2026. It is encouraging to see an international design platform engaging directly with the local design community.

ผลงานของสตูดิโอได้รับการคัดเลือกจากเวทีนานาชาติอีกครั้งในปีนี้ โดยได้รับ Silver Winner จาก IDA Design Awards 2025 และ Honorable Mention จาก Architecture MasterPrize ซึ่งเป็นอีกหนึ่งหมุดหมายของกระบวนการทำงานและการแลกเปลี่ยนผ่านเวทีออกแบบระดับโลก

นอกจากนี้ ยังน่ายินดีที่ พิธีมอบรางวัล IDA Design Awards จะจัดขึ้นที่ ICONSIAM กรุงเทพฯ ในวันที่ 8 กุมภาพันธ์ 2026 ภายใต้กิจกรรม Bangkok Design Week 2026 ซึ่งถือเป็นโอกาสที่ดีในการเชื่อมโยงเวทีออกแบบระดับนานาชาติกับแวดวงออกแบบในประเทศไทย

หวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่าจะได้พบปะ แลกเปลี่ยนมุมมอง และร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของช่วงเวลานี้ไปพร้อมกับเพื่อนร่วมวิชาชีพทุกท่าน
