𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗞𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧
/ 𝙇𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙚𝙩𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙎𝙚𝙖 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙠𝙮 /
𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 is a beachfront pool villa in Cha-am-Hua Hin, conceived as a place where architecture quietly frames the experience of nature rather than competing with it.

Instead of treating the house as a fully enclosed object, the design embraces the tropical climate by creating a seamless dialogue between indoor and outdoor living. Every room is carefully positioned to enjoy uninterrupted views of the sea, while the circulation intentionally extends through semi-outdoor spaces. Moving from one room to another becomes an opportunity to step outside, feel the sea breeze, experience changing light, and reconnect with the surrounding landscape.

𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 เป็นบ้านพักริมทะเลที่ชะอำ-หัวหิน ซึ่งออกแบบขึ้นจากแนวคิดที่ให้ ธรรมชาติเป็นพระเอก และสถาปัตยกรรมเป็นเพียงกรอบที่ช่วยขับเน้นประสบการณ์ของการอยู่อาศัย

แทนที่จะออกแบบบ้านให้เป็นพื้นที่ปรับอากาศที่ปิดแยกจากภายนอก โครงการเลือกเปิดรับสภาพแวดล้อมแบบเขตร้อน ผ่านการสร้างความต่อเนื่องระหว่างพื้นที่ภายในและภายนอก ทุกห้องได้รับการวางผังให้มองเห็นวิวทะเล ขณะที่เส้นทางสัญจรถูกออกแบบให้เชื่อมต่อผ่านพื้นที่กึ่งภายนอก เพื่อให้ทุกครั้งที่เดินจากพื้นที่หนึ่งไปสู่อีกพื้นที่หนึ่ง ผู้อยู่อาศัยได้ออกมาสัมผัสแสงแดด ลมทะเล กลิ่นอายธรรมชาติ และการเปลี่ยนแปลงของช่วงเวลาในแต่ละวัน

Situated along the tranquil coastline of Cha-am-Hua Hin, Sunkissed Retreat is conceived as a sanctuary where architecture dissolves into nature. Rather than creating a conventional beachfront villa, the design seeks to embrace the ever-changing presence of the sea, allowing light, breeze, and landscape to become integral elements of everyday living.

ทางทีม pbm ได้หยิบเอา รูปทรงแปดเหลี่ยม มาใช้เป็นโครงสร้างหลัก ซึ่งเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของงานภูมิสถาปัตยกรรม ถูกตีความใหม่ให้กลายเป็นโครงสร้างหลักของอาคาร เปลี่ยนโครงสร้างให้มีชีวิต สร้างบทสนทนาระหว่างธรรมชาติและสถาปัตยกรรมอย่างกลมกลืน

The pbm architectural team adopted the octagonal form—an iconic feature of the original landscape design—and reinterpreted it as the pavilion’s main structural language. This transforms the structure into a living form, creating a harmonious conversation between nature and architecture.

แรงบันดาลใจของ 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 เริ่มจากการมองภูมิทัศน์ในเชิงสถาปัตยกรรม ทีมออกแบบ pbm ได้ต่อยอดเส้นสายของงาน landscape ที่ไหลต่อเนื่องจากระนาบขึ้นบันได ซ้อนสลับกันอย่างเป็นจังหวะ กลายเป็นทั้งพื้นที่นั่งพัก พื้นที่เล่น และพื้นที่แสดงผลงานอย่างไร้รอยต่อ โดยภูมิสถาปนิกหลักของโครงการ ได้ออกแบบทุกตารางนิ้วแฝงด้วยความตั้งใจให้ “พื้นที่” ทําหน้าที่เป็นสื่อกลางของการพบปะและแลกเปลี่ยน

The inspiration of 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 began with viewing the landscape through an architectural lens. The design team extended the flowing lines of the landscape, rising from the ground plane into rhythmic, alternating steps that serve as seating, play areas, and exhibition spaces without interruption. Every square meter, crafted by the project’s lead landscape architect, is thoughtfully intended to make the “space” a medium
for meeting and exchange.
