• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification: For an individual or professional who has attained the basic knowledge of six sigma but he cannot lead projects on his own
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification : The individual or the professional is well versed on the core to advanced elements of lean Six sigma methodology He can lead project to improvement by his own . But For more complex improvements projects he’s led by a certified black belt
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification: An individual or professional who masters the understanding of all aspects of the Lean Six Sigma Method including a high-level of competence in the subject matters and he can lead complex improvement projects, typically in a full-time capacity

Motorola is the first to invent the six sigma concept. The goal was to satisfy its customers by improving the quality of the manufacturing processes of the products, and therefore of the products. Moreover, General Motors was the first to apply this method in 1995, but at all levels of its business under the direction of Jack Welch.
Indeed, this method is beginning to apply in particular to industrial processes. Then it was extended to all types of processes such as logistics, commercial, administrative processes, etc.
In the early 2000s, the six sigma concept experienced a boom due to the complexity of companies and the fact of internationalizing processes which imposed a broader global vision of problems.
In general, the six sigma concept is based on the notions of customers, processes and reliable measures, thus called indicators.
