Città Alta🤎

Today I want to share a few snapshots and impressions from the Old City of Bergamo, known as Città Alta, nestled in the north of Italy. Walking through its streets feels like stepping into a different time — narrow cobblestone alleys, elegant balconies, and stunning architectural details waiting around every corner.

At the heart of the city stands one of Bergamo’s most iconic landmarks: Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore. Built in the 12th century, this basilica showcases Romanesque architecture at its core, while later additions blend in elements of Gothic and Baroque styles. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by intricate ceiling decorations, frescoes, and beautifully carved wooden details — a true feast for lovers of art and architecture.

As I wandered through the old streets, it wasn’t just the architecture that impressed me, but the soul of the city itself. Every now and then, I came across small water bowls left outside of shops — a thoughtful gesture for dogs on warmer days. It’s these kinds of small but meaningful details that make Bergamo feel warm and welcoming.

The peaceful atmosphere of Città Alta, the panoramic views stretching down from its hills, and the sense of getting lost in its charming streets… If you ever find yourself nearby, make sure to spend some time in this historic heart of the city. I was enchanted — and I’m sure you will be too.

✨️Different Perspectives in Design✨️

During my journey from the living room setups to mobile spaces at Milano Design Week, I had the chance to explore several furniture brands that all share a modern and contemporary spirit.
Some stood out with their natural tones and minimal forms, while others impressed with bold colors and distinctive design touches.
Each offered its own interpretation of contemporary style, and this diversity was truly inspiring.
Different approaches, unique aesthetics, yet a shared sense of elegance…
It was such a creatively fulfilling
