On Monday 11th, March 2013, Plumbing Solutions recognized World Plumbing Day and Design Poster Competition Launch on March 11th, 2013. Our event was staged at the Dunross Preparatory School in Westmoorings, Trinidad.

Mr. Scott Fabres, Managing Director of Plumbing Solutions delivered the feature address, and Mr. Joseph Cedeno, Executive Director of The Plumbers Association of Trinidad and Tobago spoke on behalf of the TPATT.

In attendance were approximately 109 students, along with their Teachers and Principal, Mrs. Giselle Rostant and they all wore their World Plumbing Day T-shirts. The back of these T-shirts displayed the poster of Jordan Weekes of Bishop Anstey Junior School. Jordan won the local design poster competition and placed second in the international competition last year.

Over the next two weeks a number of primary schools across Trinidad will take part in our Second Annual Poster Design Competition. The school with the winning entrant in Trinidad & Tobago will receive $10,000.00 in plumbing services and supplies, while the winning student will receive $500.00, both courtesy of Plumbing Solutions.

The above student which wins the local competition will have their poster entered into the International Poster Design Competition, which will be judged by the World Plumbing Council.

Plumbing Solutions is a proud member of the World Plumbing Council and joins its other global members in celebrating World Plumbing Day, March 11th, every year, everywhere!

Congratulations to Jordan Weekes

Second Place Winner of the World Plumbing Council’s International Design Poster Competition and First Place Winner of Plumbing Solutions’ National Design Poster Competition.

As part of its school outreach programme, Plumbing Solutions extended an invitation to students from private primary schools in Trinidad to participate in the World Plumbing Council’s International Design Poster Competition. The posters were to be judged primarily for the message that World Plumbing Day represents – That Plumbing is vital to good health; the role that plumbing plays in our everyday life and the role that plumbing plays in the environmental issues. The artistic merit of the posters was secondary. The 81 posters were viewed by the staff at the American Society of Sanitary Engineering to choose the 10 best posters. These top ten posters were then put on display at the ASSE Mid-Year Board meetings for judging by the members present at the meeting.

We are pleased to announce that Jordan Weekes of Bishop Anstey Junior School received second place in the World Plumbing Council’s International Design Poster Competition out of 81 entries, and first place in Plumbing Solutions’ National Poster Design Competition.

On May 3rd, 2012 Plumbing Solutions Management and Staff attended the Bishop Anstey Junior School Assembly and presented to Jordan Weekes and his Principal, Ms. Tina Schuler prizes for his winning poster. Jordan received from the World Plumbing Council, $50 US Dollars, and his school received $500 US Dollars. Additionally, Plumbing Solutions presented to Jordan, $500 TT Dollars, and his school received $10,000 TT Dollars in plumbing supplies/services for the winning entry.
