"Jesus's three Days and three Nights in the Grave." Explained.
Some facts to consider.
1. The Lord Jesus never lies, three days and nights are exactly what He meant.
2. Understand the chronological order, of the "Days" and the 'time'. Their ( Jews ) Day began in the Evening.
3. Let us establish that Jesus did Die, the day before "a Sabbath". Mk. 15:42, Jhn 19:31.."Now it was the preparation day and the next day was to be a 'special Sabbath' ( N.I.V.) Because the Jews did not want the Bodies left on the Cross during the Sabbath" ( go back to the Old Testament) and study the Passover and the Feast of unleavent bread , Ex. 12:16, Lev 23:6.... the day after the Passover was killed the next day was always a "Special day" ....a Sabbath day, no matter what day it fell on.
