TIP:
When building a house. Closely monitor the usage of material.
If you are using blocks of size 200x200x400mm, you will need 12 blocks per squaremetre of walling. Use this to calculate how many blocks you need for your structure.

But if mathematics is your weakness. Contact us and we shall do for a material schedule estimating all the material you will need for your whole project be it, cement, sand, agregates, etc. 😄

The estimate and the tender;
These terms are sometimes used interchangeably to describe the figure submitted to a client in a form of tender but they are completely different. While the estimate represents the net cost to the contractor of carrying out the work shown in drawings, BOQs and specifications, the tender consists of that net cost and management costs, overheads, profits, allowance for risk and any other adjustments that may be required. The estimator you choose must be able to provide a tender sum that is represantitive of the full costs you may incur.
